Disney Begins Distributing ‘Gender Affirmation’ Info for Children: Report
Disney is at it again. This time, they are doubling down on the progressive LGBTQ agenda for children that got them in hot water with parents in the first place.
According to a new report, Disney has begun distributing information on “gender affirmation.” Meaning Disney is now actively promoting LGBTQ lifestyles to kids.
Christopher Rufo of the Manhattan Institute recently posted another recorded video from an internal company meeting at Disney, where an employee introduces this new benefit: “The other big area is gender identity and expression, so doing all of this work to ensure that our employees and cast can express their gender here authentically and proudly at the company.”
NEW: Disney has adopted a benefits program to assist employees and their minor children with "gender affirmation procedures." This type of treatment typically includes puberty blockers, breast removal, and genital surgeries for "kids who are transitioning." pic.twitter.com/a2zSSboe0S

The employee continues, “So, you know, coming up with guides on how to change your photo, information about pronouns, working with our benefits team to give information about gender affirmation procedures both for our employees who are transitioning and trans, but also our employees who have kids who are transitioning.”
The document Disney reportedly sent to its employees states that “Gender affirmation (sometimes called gender confirmation or transition) refers to medical and/or social interventions designed to support an individual whose sex assigned at birth does not align with their gender identity.”
It goes on to explain how Disney employees can change the appearance of their Disney-branded social media profile pictures, as well as which pronouns they would like to be addressed by.
According to the document, this coverage will apply to “two populations,” with the first being adults (age 18 and over), and the second covering “adolescents (ages 17 and under) who are covered by a family member’s insurance policy.”
Coverage for adults allow for procedures and services that include “breast augmentation/reduction, chest contouring, hair removal/transplantation, facial feminization surgery, genital implant or prosthesis, rhinoplasty, trachea shave/reduction, and vocal surgery/speech therapy.”
While adolescent coverage includes puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and gender confirmation surgery.
None of this is surprising coming from Disney, as the company has also donated $100,000 to GLSEN (Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network) in the past. An organization that works to create inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ students.
While activists are calling this a culture war victory for Disney, others are saying it’s another step too far. Parents are already canceling their Disney subscriptions in record numbers, and replacing their child’s entertainment with alternatives like DW Kids.
There have been numerous reports of the negative impact this political backlash from parents has had on Disney, yet the company, for some reason, continues to listen to woke activist voices over its consumers.
