DOJ Gets Sued For the FBI’s Unholy Alliance With Twitter to Destroy Civil Liberties

Judicial Watch, a right-wing watchdog organization dedicated to promoting  transparency in government, is locking horns with the Department of Justice in the courtroom. Judicial Watch’s complaint concerns inquiries for details concerning payments the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) made to Twitter.

This move came in the wake of the release of the Twitter Files that exposed some of the shady dealings Twitter made with the federal government prior to Elon Musk’s purchase of the social media platform.

The main part of the controversy deals with a report published by journalist Michael Shellenberger back in December 19, 2022. In this report,  Shellenberger published a receipt marked with a  $3.5 million figure.

This funding was extracted from taxpayers’ and sent over to Twitter as compensation for the time spent handling software and data requests from the FBI from the timeframe of October 2019 through February 2021.

This litigation was kicked off after the FBI did not provide an adequate response to the original request made by Judicial Watch for any records showcasing payments made to Twitter or its staff by the FBI. The FBI’s refusal to provide information spurred Judicial Watch to take legal action to shed light on any potential cover-ups.

The DOJ has become corrupt beyond belief. It currently functions as a blunt instrument for the managerial regime Ironically, it’s the facilitator of massive injustice.

There’s a clear public-private partnership being forged by the state and Big Tech. And if this political project is not stopped its tracks, we will witness a thorough evisceration of our freedoms sooner or later

Resistance is the only valid response against this unholy alliance.
