Donald Trump Calls New York Trial “Election Interference”

On October 17, 2023, Donald Trump entered the third week of its civil fraud trial in the Manhattan Supreme Court.
He argued that the trial was effectively “election interference,” and criticized Judge Arthur Engoron as “highly political.”
“I greatly appreciate all of the legal professors and scholars that are saying I DID NOTHING WRONG,” Trump declared in a post on TruthSocial. “I can’t have a JURY and am being viciously tried under a Statute that has never been used before.”
“The Radical Left Democrat Judge, WHO IS HIGHLY POLITICAL, serves as Judge, Jury, and everything else,” the former president added. “America cannot let this happen. Our legal system is corrupt and broken!”
While talking to reporters outside the courtroom, Trump noted that his wife, Melania, believes that his legal ordeal was a “total disgrace.”
“It’s all election interference and it all starts with the DOJ,” he continued. “It starts with Biden.”
New York Attorney General Letitia James filed the lawsuit against Trump and she was present at the trial on October 17, 2023.
She has launched accusations against Trump for exaggerating the value of his properties and inflating his total net worth in order to obtain better terms for loans he has taken out in the last several years.
The former president and his supporters have been skeptical about the appraisals the prosecution has provided, which has included the valuation of his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida at around $18 million.
Regardless of what one thinks about Trump, what he is going through represents a Banana Republic tier perversion of the justice system. This represents the US’s gradual descent into petty tyranny.
Only a total overthrow of the US’s ruling class will put the country back on the right course. The present set of leaders are committed to having the US experience a significant decline.
