ESPN Commentator Blames Lack of Gun Control Laws for Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Parade Shooting

On February 14, 2024, ESPN media personality Mina Kimes declared that the mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade was brought about by the “inaction on gun laws.”

In an unsurprising fashion, Kines made the comments before details about the mass shooting went public.

Kimes made this assessment before facts about the shooting had been released by police.

According to Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves, the shooting was the result of a dispute between several African American individuals.

Notably, Graves called attention to how two of three people in custody related to the shooting are juveniles.

Funny enough, Kimes did not detail which laws could have prevented the shooting at the Chief’s Super Bowl parade. She even went as far to announce that she will “not…argue with folks” in an X comment that was posted after her gun control push. Instead, she called on her followers to read an article published on VOX that is concentrated on “mass shootings.” AWR Hawkins noted that this  report “relies on misleading data from the Gun Violence Archive to bolster its claims.

Sports commentators have jumped on this tragedy to push a civilian disarmament agenda. These people have been completely brainwashed by decades of leftist indoctrination in the school system and in their entertainment consumption patterns.

These people need to be ultimately ignored when it comes to politics.

Nevertheless, it’s important for the Right to create alternatives to traditional sports media so that this avenue is not fully under control of the Left. The more space we let the Left occupy, the more power they will exert over us.
