‘Fauci for Prison’: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Ramps Up His Rhetoric Against the “American Mengele”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently called for NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci to be jailed in a fundraising request, which has set off the liberal crybabies who worship Fauci and his brand of scientism.
“No whining from Fauci or Biden is going to cause me to sell out to their pursuit of medical authoritarianism. Indeed, Fauci lied to Congress about his involvement in funding gain of function research and should be prosecuted,” DeSantis wrote in the email solicitation.
He also said that “Faucism” is destroying the country and “we will continue to reject it here in Florida.”
“Biden will do everything he can to turn Florida into a Faucian dystopia in which our freedoms are curtailed and our livelihoods are destroyed,” DeSantis said, pleading for freedom lovers to help the pro-Trump governor “protect freedom right here in Florida by chipping in” with a small donation.

Big League Politics has reported on how DeSantis is regularly exercising his authority to thwart Fauci and other medical bureaucrats at war with the U.S. Constitution:
“Florida governor Ron DeSantis has said that he is taking executive action to suspend all local COVID-19 emergency orders. His executive action will, according to CBS12, “immediately suspend” the emergency orders and then invalidate them by July 1.
“We’ll […] sign an executive order […] invalidating all remaining local emergency COVID orders, effective on July 1st,” DeSantis announced Monday morning. “But then to bridge the gap between then and now, I’m going to suspend, under my executive power, the local emergency orders as it relates to COVID.”
DeSantis’ announcement came during a news conference at a St. Petersburg restaurant. He added that his executive order is fully justifiable in light of the both the science and the state’s COVID data.
“I think that’s the evidence-based thing to do,” DeSantis said before receiving a brief round of applause. “I think folks that are saying that they need to be policing people at this point—if you’re saying that, you really are saying you don’t believe in the vaccines, you don’t believe in the data, you don’t believe in the science.”
… In other recent DeSantis news, the Florida governor appeared on Fox Nation’s “Tucker Carlson Today” late last month to denounce the “Faucism” he was pressured to adopt:
“If I had more data, I would have had the ability to say, ‘Wait a minute. Why would we need to close a gym for two weeks?” DeSantis asked. “These are younger people going to work out. If you’re healthy, you’re going to end up dealing with the virus better.”
“And so I think that it took me a few weeks, March and into April, to get enough data to say, ‘Okay, we’re not doing Faucism, we’re going to make sure our state’s open,” he continued.
“We’re going to get the kids back in school and we’ll just focus our protection on elderly people, who are the ones at risk…Some of the restrictions we did, I think, were ineffective,” DeSantis added.“
