FLASHBACK: Biden Regime Vows to Go to War With Iran

On July 13, 2022, the United States and Israel signed a new security agreement stressing their common opposition  against Iran, this came at a time when President Joe Biden promised to use “all” American power to prevent  Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

The declaration received the signature of Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Biden, who was making his first diplomatic trip to the Middle East as president of US.

This agreement commits the US to “never to allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon”, declaring that it “is prepared to use all elements of its national power to ensure that outcome”.

The previous Trump administration scrapped the Iran nuclear deal which the administration of Barack Obama pushed forward in attempt to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions in exchange for receiving sanctions relief.

The Biden regime has attempted to revive the Iran nuclear deal but the Iranians have not even bothered to play ball in this instance. This is likely due to the fact that the Iranians don’t trust the US to abide by international agreements because of the erratic nature of US foreign policy where one presidential administration will sign an agreement and the subsequent administration will completely discard it.

Israel has been opposed to the Iran nuclear deal, owing to its desire to be the sole nuclear power in the Middle East and its bitter geopolitical rivalry with Iran.

Lapid declared that “words” and “diplomacy” were not enough to stop Iran’s alleged pursuit for a nuclear weapon.

“The only thing that will stop Iran is knowing that if they continue to develop their nuclear programme the free world will use force,” he stated.

Even to this day, the Biden regime is committed to defending Israel at all costs. Although the Israel-Hamas conflict has not spread outward, the US’s special relationship with Israel poses a perennial threat to Israel’s looney demands. One of those being getting into a war with Iran- its main geopolitical adversary.

To avoid this fate, the US has to recalibrate its relationship with Israel by ending military aid and taking a more neutral line with respect to Israel and its disputes.
