Following the announcement that the ongoing inquiry into the origins of the Russian collusion probe has turned into a criminal investigation, the fake news has been scurrying to discredit Attorney General Bill Barr and Connecticut U.S Attorney John Durham, the men who are leading this historic effort for accountability within the federal government.
It is breathtaking to realize that William Barr is every bit as corrupt and dishonest as Trump. But that was true, too, of John Mitchell as attorney general under Nixon. As with them, doesn’t mean Barr or Trump will prevail.

It was bad enough Trump and Barr were wasting resources on this. But now they are fully weaponizing DOJ for political purposes.

It has always been extremely clear that Trump viewed DOJ as a vehicle to protect himself and his allies and punish his foes. Barr is just willing to carry that out. And the Fox propaganda apparatus is there to point out targets and stir up confusion.

However, the criminal investigation is underway and at least one top Obama-era official has admitted that the conspiracy goes all the way to the top. Former President Barack Obama very well may be implicated in these proceedings before it is all said and done.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper admitted on CNN that Obama called for the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) that was arranged by former FBI agent Peter Strzok in Jan. 2017 shortly before President Trump took office. This is what kicked off the entire farce that has been a stain on US democracy and political discourse for nearly three years now.
Big League Politics reported on Clapper’s illuminating remarks shortly after he made them in July 2018:
Former Obama administration director of national intelligence James Clapper admitted that former president Barack Obama gave the order to Peter Strzok to kick off his Operation Crossfire Hurricane targeting of President Donald Trump.
Obama — who also gave a stand-down order on stopping alleged Russian hacking — was personally implicated in the plot according to Peter Strzok and Lisa Page’s texts. Clapper confirms the obvious.
This is James Clapper’s interview with Anderson Cooper, which confirms that Obama ordered Strzok to carry out an Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), which became the basis for the entire Mueller probe.
“If it weren’t for President Obama we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set up a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation. President Obama is responsible for that. It was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place,” Clapper said in his Anderson Cooper interview.
Clapper reiterated the point earlier this month on CNN when he commented that he and other deep state villains were just following orders from Obama when they worked to railroad President Trump:
LOL. Barack Obama is going to love this interview his former DIA James Clapper just gave to CNN about the Durham probe: “It’s frankly disconcerting to be investigated for having done… what we were told to do by the president of the United States.” https://t.co/peAoCvjWCg

The shoe may be ready to drop, as years of deep state corruption is coming back to bite veteran intelligence industry spooks. Clapper – along with his pals former CIA director John Brennan, former FBI director James Comey, former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, and many others – should be lawyering up right about now.
