Florida Republican Anthony Sabatini Trolls Liberals By Blaming DEI; Turns Out There is Truth to his Statement

The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse that took place in Baltimore, Maryland on March 26, 2024 served as a stark reminder that the United States has a multitude of internal problems that could lead to its eventual collapse as a functional civilization.

Former Florida State Representative and now candidate for Florida’s 11th congressional district Anthony Sabatini was one of the few individuals to drop some uncomfortable truths about this embarrassing incident, where a container ship crashed against one of the Francis Scott Key Bridge’s piers.

In a post that he published on X on March 26, Sabatini declared “DEI [Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion] did this” with respect to the bridge collapse. Sabatini’s remarks were met with sharp criticism from snooty liberal commentators. However, on March 29, Sabatini shared an article published by the Daily Wire, that highlighted how woke, race-based hiring policies could have potentially contributed to the bridge collapse in Baltimore.

Sabatini posted “Have a great weekend.”

The article in question, “Less Than A Year Before Bridge Fiasco, Maryland’s Dem Gov Put A DEI Consultant On State’s Port Commission” was authored by Luke Rosiak and it exposed how placed a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consultant on the Maryland Port Commission a few months prior to the container ship crashed into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge.

Moore placed Karenthia Barber in the Commission position in August 2023. The headline of the press release announcing the hire hailed her as the “first black woman to serve as Maryland Port Commissioner.” According to Barber’s Ports Commission biography, Barber is “the Founder and CEO of Professional Development Associates, LLC. [sic] a consulting practice that provides leadership and workforce training, coaching, and diversity, equity and inclusion audits and consulting,” and a volunteer for the Maryland Democratic Party.

Per an interview that Barber posted to the port website in January 2024, part of her role was to bring her DEI knowledge to the commission.

“In the words of our Governor, I want to make sure the MPA is leaving no one behind — that we are broadening our impact, our revenue, but also expanding the net of inclusion,” Barber stated.

It remains to be seen what exactly caused this bridge collapse. However, Sabatini’s instincts may prove to be correct here. With many blue cities fully embracing woke, DEI policies in how they conduct everyday affairs, there’s a strong likelihood that incompetent leaders will pursue policies that will lead to the collapse of infrastructure nationwide.

Woke policies come with massive consequences and it’s best that leaders recognize the dangers of putting identity over merit. America could witness a wholesale decline in its standard of living if it continues going down this dangerous path.
