Former Democrat Congressman Dennis Kucinich Criticizes Biden Regime’s Open Borders Agenda for Depressing Worker Wages

Former Democrat congressman Dennis Kucinich declared that President Joe Biden’s “reprehensible” border agenda is basically “a plan to drive down wages” for working and middle class Americans.

Kucinich appeared on the Jimmy Dore Show in early February, urging Biden to “seal the border” and recommending that Congress approve an audit of all taxpayer money allocated and spent by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

“My position, some people may think it’s heartless, seal the border. You don’t have a country if you don’t have borders,” Kucinich stated. “People can’t get into Canada, just walk over, it’s not going to happen. You can’t get over there in a boat or a plane. You’re not going to walk across the bridge to Ontario or from Niagra Falls.”

Kucinich declared that the Biden regime’s border plan is a plot for Wall Street and big business to depress worker wages, while boosting profit margins and investment returns.

Kucinich stated the following:

The immigration should be regularized and we’ve gotten away from that. And as a result, it’s not just … a plan to drive down wages, which Bernie Sanders has pointed out, and perhaps a plan to get more people in the military but it’s also, we’ve opened the door, the borders to mules and drug cartels and anybody that wants to assault American cities with their illicit economic activity.

Frankly, this whole thing about the border is a nightmare. And the fact that the Biden administration has let it continue, to me, is reprehensible.

Kucinich is currently running as an independent candidate in Ohio’s 7th congressional district. In the interview, Kucinich made a reference to bills that New York Congressman Pat Ryan and Michigan Congressman John James introduced on February 9, 2024, that would incentivize illegal aliens to become members of the US Armed Forces in order to create an expedited path to American citizenship.

What Kucinich voiced in his interview with Dore, represented sentiments that Democrats once held on immigration matters. In previous decades, Democrats at least took a pro-labor line on immigration, arguing that mass migration threatened the working class via depressed wages.

However, the Democratic Party has been fully captured by Big Business, who wants cheap labor to boost corporate profits, and woke elites, who want to displace White Americans via mass migration. As a result, it will be pushing mass migration to its heart content much to the detriment of Middle America.
