Former President Donald Trump Said He Would Let Benjamin Netanyahu “Finish the Job” In Gaza
On March 16, 2024, former United States President Donald Trump said that he would advise Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to quickly wrap up Israel’s war in Gaza. In addition, he blamed the Biden regime of being too influenced by pro-Palestinian protests.
When he was asked during a Fox News interview what kind of advice he would give Netanyahu, Trump stated, “I think you have to finish it up and do it quickly and get back to the world of peace. We need peace in the world.”
Trump’s interview largely concentrated on taking President Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to task for their increased public criticism of the Netanyahu regime’s military operation in Gaza.
“The Democrats are very bad for Israel. Israel sticks with them. I guess Israel is loyal, maybe to a fault, because they stick with these guys,” he stated, pinning the blame on the Biden regime’s foreign policy measures for the Hamas attacks on October 7.
“Biden is so bad for Israel, they should’ve never been attacked. If Biden were good to Israel, they wouldn’t have been attacked,” Trump asserted.
“They lost a lot of people on October 7. Maybe he’s forgotten it. He looks at ‘where do I get more votes’ and he’s seeing the Palestinians and the marches – they are big – and he says ‘I want to go that way instead of Israel.’ I don’t know how Israel stays with these people,” Trump declared.
Trump added by noting that Biden “obviously said ‘I see a lot of people protesting out there, and they happen to be Palestinians or wherever from the Middle East’ and he was probably shocked to see it, and all the sudden he dumped Israel.” Ultimately, Trump believes that Biden “just said Bibi Netanyahu should take a walk.”
Trump should stick to his America First instincts and not call for the US to get involved in the Israel-Hamas conflict. The last thing the US needs is to continue subsiding, much less getting into another geopolitical quagmire thousands of miles away.
