Former Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard Endorses Iraq War Veteran Joe Kent for Congress in Washington State

Former U.S. Congresswoman from Hawaii and Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has endorsed Iraq War veteran Joe Kent in his U.S. House run for the 3rd Congressional District in Washington State.

Gabbard and Kent share non-interventionist foreign policy beliefs, both having served their country and seen the senselessness of the military-industrial complex’s war machine first hand.

“President Biden, Pelosi, and Perez’s policies of open borders have led to a crime and drug epidemic that is killing people and making us less safe. My friend Joe Kent is a fighter. He’s dedicated his life to ensuring the safety, security and freedom of the American people and our country. With your vote, Joe is going to go to Washington and work tirelessly to secure the border and bring you and your loved ones peace of mind,” Gabbard said in her endorsement of Kent.

Earlier this week, Gabbard announced that she was walking away from the Democrat Party as they had embraced the policies of endless war due to their psychotic, xenophobic and illogical hatred of Russia.

“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism,” Gabbard said in a Twitter post about her decision to leave the Democrats.

“I believe in a government that is of the people, by the people and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by and for the powerful elite,” she added. “I’m calling on my fellow common sense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party.”

Gabbard’s decision has earned her the respect of many Republican stalwarts, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

“[Gabbard] has always been sort of an independent maverick,” Gingrich said. “And I think when she ran for president, she realized how really isolated she was from the great majority of the Democratic Party, which is now, frankly, a pretty weird party….I think you’re seeing this drift. And we’ve certainly seen among Latinos a huge drift towards the Republican Party as they’re driven away by the weirder policies of the Democratic Party.”

Gabbard’s endorsement of Kent shows that she has the finger on the pulse of the America First movement in the GOP. Kent is one of the best prospects to push back against the globalists in the legislature.
