Former White House COVID Advisor Admits ‘We Use Mandates Because We Don’t Want to…Explain the Science’

Former White House COVID-19 task force member Dr. Deborah Birx made a stunning revelation during a recent television appearance.

While defending the use of face masking, Birx admitted that the federal government uses mandates to enforce submission rather than keep the public informed and able to make choices on their own accord.

“Well, the key thing about masking is you have to wear them in order for them to work. And so when you see these rates in cities, it’s because a lot of us when we get together we don’t wear masks when we’re with friends and families around the dining room table,” Birx said while appearing on Newsmax TV.

“And frankly, that’s where a lot of spread is occurring when you’re in contact with people and their air that they’re breathing because it remains suspended in the air then that can be a very real reason why it isn’t really evident that masks are working well,” she added.

Birx went on to use a personal anecdote to justify her religious faith in wearing the face mask despite no actual evidence that they prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“But I know masks work well because I have worn them in multiple situations where people on either side of me were positive and I have not become infected,” she claimed.

This is when Birx admitted that the federal government would rather order the people around in a flagrant violation of their constitutional rights than have to explain their vaunted science to the peons who they lord over.

“Mandates should never be an excuse for not empowering the American people with the knowledge they need to understand why masks work and why they should be used in certain situations. And I think sometimes we use mandates because we don’t want to take the time to explain the science and the data and really have people understand who should be using them and why they should be using them,” she said.

“One of the Biden administration’s top COVID-19 advisors has admitted that most face masks are “not very effective” in stopping the spread of the virus.

Dr. Michael Osterholm, a member of President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board, told CNN that the mask wearing is little more than theater, as most cloth face coverings do nothing to prevent the spread of the virus.

“And if I could just add a nuance to that, which hopefully doesn’t add more confusion, we know today that many of the face cloth coverings people wear are not very effective in reducing any of the virus movement in or out,” Osterholm told CNN host John King. “Either you’re breathing out or you’re breathing in.”

“So I think one of the things right now is we’ve just got to get a better handle on what does protect people and what doesn’t,” he added.”

The federal government has no credibility after years of pushing their virus protocol on the American public. What they have done is abominable, and they should pay a steep price for their crimes against humanity.
