Founder of LBRY Jeremy Kauffman Tells FBI Agents to Pound Sand After Attempting to Interrogate Him About Social Media Posts

The United States Attorney’s Office for New Hampshire and the Secret Service were recently made aware of a post on social media made by the New Hampshire Libertarian Party that was highly critical of Vice President Kamala Harris. The now-deleted post was largely viewed as inflammatory.
The federal agencies informed NBC10 Boston on September 16, 2024 that they knew about LP New Hampshire post. The agencies never confirmed that they were investigating the post in question.
The Libertarian Party of New Hampshire announced that it deleted the initial post on X on September 15, 2024 that read, “Anyone who murders Kamala Harris would be an American hero,” due to the site’s guidelines.
“We are aware of the tweet. Although the department generally will not confirm or deny any specific investigation, threatening violence is a crime and those who do this will be investigated, prosecuted, and held to account in a court of law,” US Attorney Jane Young declared in a statement.
A Secret Service spokesman said to NBC10 Boston in an email, “The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the social media post made by the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire, and as a matter of practice, we do not comment on matters involving protective intelligence. We can say, however, that the Secret Service investigates all threats related to our protectees.”
Jeremy Kauffman, who founded LBRY and Odyssey, runs the state party’s account on X. When NBC10 reached out to him, Kauffman stated the following:
The Libertarian Party believes that NBC journalists are lying propagandists who would be physically removed from any decent society.
In recent days, Kauffman has made several spicy comments on X about the average IQ of Haitians, which are largely accurate despite what the PC enforcers say.
Kauffman posted the following on September 9 with respect to the national story of Haitian migrant invaders overwhelming the city of Springfield, Ohio:
Haiti has an average IQ of 67. Let’s talk about what that means:
– With an IQ of 67 or below, the average Haitian — over half the country — would be considered too disabled to be eligible for the death penalty. Someone at this level will struggle to understand the cause-and-effect of basic things, as well as to participate in American society at all. Even filling out forms will be hard.
On September 16, Kauffman shared a video on X, showing two adult males briefly visiting him in front of his home. One of the individuals identified himself as an FBI agent, who wanted to ask Kauffman about his social media posts.
During his encounter with the government agents, Kauffman requested that they produce identification before he would answer any specific questions. Kauffman mocked the government agents for their decision to visit and try to interrogate him. He called them “an embarrassment” and lambasted them for wasting taxpayer resources to investigate an activity — posting on social media — that is legally allowed.
The government agents eventually drove away without any meaningful information they could use against Kauffman. This incident just goes to show how petty the DC regime has become. Instead of focusing on real threats such as the transnational criminal syndicates that operate freely in the US thanks to its lax border security policies and soft-on-crime policies in major urban centers, federal resources are being directed against otherwise peaceful people.
This is peak anarcho-tyranny and just another sign of the US going through a phase of political decline. If the administrative state cannot be downsized in our lifetime, expect more tyrannical actions to proliferate in the years to come.
