Fox News ‘Accidently’ Calls Arizona Gubernatorial Election For Dems DAYS Before Polls Open
In yet another “oopsie” from the corporate media, a Fox News affiliate station accidentally called the Arizona gubernatorial election for Democrats DAYS BEFORE polls have even opened.
As Twitter users were quick to point out, the Arizona Fox News affiliate showed a results graphic that announced Democratic candidate for governor, Katie Hobbs, had won against MAGA Republican opponent Kari Lake.
“Hey @fox10 what’s with the fake election graphic that’s got Hobbs over @KariLake?” U.S. representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ) wrote on Twitter.
“Is this the same Fox News that called Arizona for Biden 5 minutes after the polls closed?” he added.

The Fox News affiliate sent out an apology for the graphic, saying it was posted in error.
“At 5:50p during the Fox 10 newscast today a small graphic appeared on the lower left side of the screen showing test results for the upcoming election,” it said.
“These were generated by the Associated Press which distributes results to clients,” it added. “This graphic was never meant to go on air — the numbers were only part of a test. The station has taken steps to make sure this cannot happen again.”

Rightfully suspicious and frustrated users on Twitter didn’t take the apology from the Fox News affiliate lightly.
“Why is it when these “tests” are done, the Democrat is always in the lead?” one person wrote.
“Literally, no one believes you. You simply got caught…” said another.
“Never meant to go on air tonight, they were what was supposed to go up in 12 days,” chimed in someone else.
Others weighed in to highlight the stark similarities between its so-called “error” and the 2020 election. Where Fox News called the presidential race hours before polls even closed.
Again, these sorts of mistakes are almost always in favor of Democrat candidates.
“This was the real news yesterday. 11 points up and not a darn one of you covered it. I’m sure Fox 10, when they got the results, were shocked. They barely covered it as well,” Lake said during a presser yesterday when discussing fake news.
