Fox News’ Donna Brazile Is ‘Person Of Interest’ in Seth Rich Murder Case, According to Investigator

Published

on

Fox News has bolstered its lineup with the hiring of Donna Brazile, the temporary Democratic National Committee chairwoman who ran point on the party’s cover-up of the Seth Rich murder case.

Fox’s Sean Hannity was covering the Seth Rich case for a while — sharing Big League Politics’ work — but then word came down from the wife of one of the Murdoch sons to stop talking about Seth Rich, and he did. (READ: Murdochs Muzzle Hannity).

Seth Rich is widely believed to be the source of the DNC email leak, which was an inside job — according to mountains of evidence — and not actually a hack. Seth Rich was murdered in Washington, D.C. in the summer of 2016 in between the time he leaked the emails and when Julian Assange published them right before the Democratic National Convention.

In a series of text messages sent to Fox News reporter Malia Zimmerman by private investigator Rod Wheeler, he describes being “startled” by Donna Brazile, and states that her behavior “makes me think that Donna Brazile is in a category of persons of interest as it relates to the death of Seth Rich.”

The day before Fox News published their now-retracted story about Rich being the source of the Democratic National Committee emails released by WikiLeaks, Wheeler wrote to Zimmerman. Wheeler explained how Brazile had called the police department after he met with the lead detective on the case.

A “Key Communications Log” of detailed exchanges between Wheeler and Zimmerman was provided to Big League Politics by a person who wishes to remain anonymous at this time. Big League Politics is not making any accusations or passing any judgment on the text messages presented below.

Big League Politics previously published the notes from Wheeler’s April 25, 2017, meeting with D.C. police Detective Joseph DellaCamera, in which the detective did not confirm or deny Rich being in contact with WikiLeaks. DellaCamera admitted that he had been trying to contact Julian Assange for help with the case.

From Wheeler’s notes:

“DellaCamera was asked, ‘were you aware that Seth was having problems with two supervisors at his job (DNC) and he was very emotionally upset because of his problems at the DNC?’ DellaCamera replied, ‘I was aware that there were problems, but I don’t know who the supervisors were that he was having problems with.’”

A source very close to the investigation told Big League Politics that Brazile and Rich had been in an extremely heated verbal altercation regarding the DNC’s treatment of Bernie Sanders in the weeks prior to his death.

The text messages that follow are unedited other than the use of emphasis.

“The former DC police chief Her name was Cathy Lanier. I’m not at the computer right now but what I will do is just send you a short blurb via text as to what I was told by Joel and what I learned pertaining to Donna Brazil,” Wheeler said in a text to Zimmerman. “So I spoke with the detective on last Friday and we agreed to meet today and I was going to have him talk with some of the House intelligence investigators pertaining to the Seth rich case and whether or not there were any correlations between that case and the other cases of hacking at the house intelligence investigators are looking into.”

In subsequent messages to Zimmerman, Wheeler explained that he spoke to Seth’s father Joel Rich, and that he told him Brazille had called him inquiring as to why he was “snooping around asking questions.”

“Detective DellaCamera did not show up for our arrange the meeting nor has he returned any of my telephone calls which clearly indicates to me that he has been told not to meet with us,” Wheeler wrote to the reporter. “Additionally I talked with Joel Rich today via telephone to give him an update as to what are some of the concerns that I am finding with the investigation. Joel admitted to me that when I first got involved with this investigation and I started calling the police detective, Joel said Rod do you really know the reason why the Detective did not call  you back when you were calling him? I said no what was the reason. Joel said that when I called the police department right after that Donna Brazil called him and was asking him why was I snooping around asking questions about the death of Seth and his working relationships at the DNC. I was startled to learn that Donna Brazil even knew that I had reached out to the police department.”

“So basically when I called the police department that information was immediately given to Donna Brazil and she caught Joe wanting to know why I was inquiring about Seth relationships at the DNC,” Wheeler wrote. “As a police investigator that automatically makes me think that Donna Brazil is in a category of persons of interest as it relates to the death of Seth rich.”

The investigator continued on. He said that it was not just Brazile who was inquiring about his investigation, but Debbie Wasserman-Schultz as well.

“I also spoke with another source today who informed me that not only was Donna Brazil snooping around wanting to know what was I learning with regards to the DNC and Seth rich but also I was told that Debbie Wasserman Schultz was snooping around wanting to know how much it was I learning,” Wheeler said.

Wheeler went on to provide Zimmerman with an additional quote for her report, urging the FBI to investigate not only the death of Seth Rich, but others that may be connected to the DNC.

“Here is another quote you may want to consider using,” Wheeler told Zimmerman. “I sincerely believe that there is an underground culture of corruption that exist within the confines of the nations capital that includes quite possibly the crime of murder. It’s time that the FBI immediately conduct a full and thorough investigation to not only the death and who caused the death of Seth rich but those that he was involved with and others regarding the Democratic national committee.”

Later in the day, Wheeler sent another text message stating, “Aaron Rich just called and blast me out! Joel informed me that Donna Brazile called him not the police department asking why I was snooping around.  My question is how did she know that I had called the detective so quick.”

In audio released last week by Big League Politics, Wheeler explains that Seth’s brother Aaron Rich tried to block Wheeler from looking at Seth’s computer, even though there could be evidence on it. “He said no, he said I have his computer, meaning him,” Wheeler said. “I said, well can I look at it?…He said, what are you looking for? I said anything that could indicate if Seth was having problems with someone. He said no, I already checked it. Don’t worry about it.”

Wheeler said that Seth’s girlfriend told him that Aaron Rich had possession of Seth’s cell phones, but Aaron denied it and said “we’re not going to worry about the cell phones.”

Aaron also blocked Wheeler from finding out about who was at a party Seth attended the night of the murder.

“All I want you to do is work on the botched robbery theory and that’s it,” Aaron told Wheeler, according to Wheeler’s claim on the audio.

Big League Politics has also released an audio recording of journalist Seymour Hersh stating that Seth Rich was in fact WikiLeaks’ source.

“All I know is that he offered a sample, an extensive sample, I’m sure dozens of emails, and said ‘I want money.’ Later, WikiLeaks did get the password, he had a DropBox, a protected DropBox,” Hersh said. They got access to the DropBox.”

Big League Politics has reached out to Brazile and Wasserman Schultz for comment for this report.

Cassandra Fairbanks reported for Big League Politics:

In Donna Brazile’s new book, which is dedicated to Seth Rich, she alleges that when she asked Hillary Clinton to contribute to a reward fund to find his murderer, the former First Lady abruptly ended the phone call.

From Brazile’s new book Hacks:

I knew the campaign had over $3 million set aside in a legal fund. Could she help me get this lawsuit started? And don’t forget the murder of Seth Rich, I told her. Did she want to contribute to Seth’s reward fund? We still hadn’t found the person responsible for the tragic murder of this bright young DNC staffer.

You’re right, she said. We’re going to get to that. But she really had to go. She had made the call and checked it off her list, and I accepted after we said our good-byes that I might never hear from her again.

The Democratic Party have long been doing their best to gaslight anyone who has questions about the staffer’s mysterious death — yet in Brazile’s book she explains her own fears after his death and claims that it still “haunts her.”

Oddly, Brazile also claims in her book that her theories about why he was killed are either that he was murdered for being white — or by the Russians.

Brazile wrote:

I felt some responsibility for Seth Rich’s death. I didn’t bring him into the DNC, but I helped keep him there working on voting rights. With all I knew now about the Russians’ hacking, I could not help but wonder if they had played some part in his unsolved murder. Besides that, racial tensions were high that summer and I worried that he was murdered for being white on the wrong side of town. [My friend] Elaine expressed her doubts about that, and I heard her. The  FBI said that they did not see any Russian fingerprints there.

This theory that Brazile floats is a bit strange given that she claims that someone in the intelligence community urged her to up her own security after his murder. Surely she wouldn’t be a target of people seeking to kill white people.

Rich was shot in the back near his home around 4:19 a.m. on July 10, 2016. Twelve days later, WikiLeaks would release the first of the leaked emails from the DNC — which would ultimately reveal that Donna Brazile had leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton during the primaries and lead to the resignation of Democratic Party Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

Texas Political Establishment Attempts to Derail Shelley Luther’s Campaign

Published

The special election for Texas’ Senate District 30 is on pace to be one of the most heated races in the Lone Star State.

At a candidate forum on September 18, 2020, Shelley Luther, the Dallas salon owner who was jailed for opening her business in defiance of Governor Greg Abbott’s shutdown order, confronted outgoing State Senator Pat Fallon.

Fallon vacated his seat and is now backing a successor in State Representative Drew Springer.

“We don’t want somebody who’s going to be at odds with our Republican governor,” Fallon said September 18 at the Grayson County Republican Women’s Club.

Fallon added:

I didn’t support some of the things that he has done about opening up. … So, he’s made some mistakes. He’s our Republican governor, the 80/20 rule … because you’re not going to get any bills passed unless the governor signs them.

“Let me make something clear. I am accountable to my fellow citizens in Senate District 30. Not our Governor,” Luther responded on September 19 on Facebook:

This is exactly what is wrong with Austin. Our politicians are more loyal to Abbott than us, even when they disagree with him.

I will work with Governor Abbott when he is fighting to protect the liberty of Texans, and I will oppose him when he pushes unilateral dictates that shut down our local businesses.

Fallon and Luther had a tense exchange, which was caught on video.

“You want me to go all in on this race?” Fallon questioned Luther. “I have been 5 percent in on this race. You want me to go all in on it, I’m welcome to.”

“This has become a straight-up fight between Abbott and the ‘Kumbaya’ Professional Political Class vs. the grassroots and people who remember what limited government and principles should look like,” opined conservative activist Mike Openshaw.

“Respectfully, being willing to be jailed for fighting over-reaching government shows principle; that counts for something, Patrick,” Openshaw continued.

Luther has recently received endorsements from conservative Collin County Judge Chris Hill and Young Conservatives of Texas. Springer, on the other hand, received an endorsement from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, which asserted that Luther was going down a “far right” path.

A Republican is expected to carry the senate district, which may still require a runoff if the leading candidate does not get enough votes during the first round of the special election.

Election Day will be on September 29.

Luther is viewed as the truly conservative option and many believe she could help break the political status quo in Austin that has kept conservative legislation from ever being passed.
