French LGBT Activist is Charged with Brutally Raping and Torturing a Disabled 4-Year Old Girl

A prominent LGBT activist in France has been charged with the brutal rape and torture of a four-year old girl who is severely developmentally disabled.
According to reporting from Reduxx, Pierre-Alain Cottineau, 32, was arrested on Sept. 23 and charged with these heinous acts. Cottineau has been a long time political activist in Loire-Atlantique, standing for elections under the La France Insoumise (LFI) Party. LFI boasts a “zero-tolerance” policy against “sexist, racist, anti-Semitic or LGBTIphobic remarks or behavior” from party members.
Cottineau was named the President of the he Rainbow Shelter (Le Refuge Arc-en-ciel) in 2018 where he hosted the organization’s first forum against homophobia and transphobia. He also founded groups like the Oudon Solidarity and Mutual Aid Collective, as well as the LGBTQI+ Association of Ancenis (EsAc). He regularly participates in the LGBT pride parade in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon.
“We suffer from invisibility. This walk is there to make people understand that LGBTQI+ people also exist in the [French] countryside,” Cottineau said in an interview with FranceBleu.
Cottineau’s history of working with “vulnerable populations” may have allowed him to become accepted as a foster father. He was approved in Dec. 2023 to become a foster parent, requesting a child under the age of six. Cottineau got his wish, getting access to a developmentally disabled 4-year old girl who would then become his alleged victim.
The French Child Welfare board claims that they “double-checked” Cottineau’s record and the “approval procedure, recruitment, and regular monitoring … had not revealed any warning signs” before giving him access to the child.
The Office of Minors became aware of graphic child sex abuse videos being transferred over the Telegram social media platform in September 2024. One of the victims was suspected to be a French national, and investigators began to work on finding out their identity. Their investigation led them to Cottineau.
After being detained and charged, Cottineau admitted to authorities that he sexually and physically abused the child and that he distributed the video digitally to pedophiles throughout France. He has been indicted and charged under counts of rape, torture and barbarism. He faces life in prison if convicted.
Big League Politics has reported on other instances where LGBT activists have been charged with brutally raping children. Not every LGBT activist is a pedophile or sexual deviant, but this movement certainly empowers predators to sexualize children, and society is just starting to see the results of this widespread depravity play out on a grand scale.
