Global Government? Biden Quietly Makes Peculiar Amendments To US WHO Regulations

“And now is a time when things are shifting. We’re going to — there’s going to be a new world order out there, and we’ve got to lead it. And we’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it,” Joe Biden announced during a Business Roundtable’s CEO Quarterly Meeting on March 21, 2022.

Is ‘global government’ coming to a nation near you? An op-ed drafted by Daniel Horowitz of TheBlaze seems to warn of such a possibility. It recently came to light that actors of the Biden administration quietly sent the World Health Organization several amendments to a 2005 international health regulation between the organization and the United States. This apparently happened just a few months ago, with the White Hosue never issuing an official statement or press conference at the time.

The amendments in question are intended to face their possible adoption into the United States code at an upcoming May 22 meeting in which the WHO plans to meet in Geneva, Switzerland in order to discuss “public health” measures. Included on the list of invitees are 193 countries, including the United States. Taiwan, as is WHO tradition, will remain the only nation not allowed to attend the event.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus explained the purpose of the treaty back in January of this year, stressing that it is a “priority” to “urgently strengthen WHO as the leading and directing authority on global health, at the center of the global health architecture.” He further expanded on his vision, saying, “we all want a world in which science triumphs over misinformation; solidarity triumphs over division; and equity is a reality, not an aspiration.”

“We are one world, we have one health, we are one WHO.”

Horowitz detailed the changes brought forth by the Biden administration in the aftermentioned 2005 international health regulation, pointing out that one proposed amendment nixed a crucial sentence from Article 9 of the 2005 International Health Regulations: “WHO shall consult with and attempt to obtain verification from the State Party in whose territory the event is allegedly occurring…”

Another change, which can also be seen in full at the above link, calls for the WHO to “immediately share with other States Parties the information available to it,” should a US State Party “not accept the offer of collaboration within 48 hours.”

“The Biden administration wants all the emergency declarations to be mandatory and cut out all views of the concerned state,” Horowitz banally concluded. TheBlaze senior editor went on to warn readers that in order to stop further infringements on American liberties in the name of ‘public health,’ “congressional Republicans must commit to blocking all of the WHO’s funding in this upcoming budget bill.” He further stated that “state legislatures must be ready to convene and prohibit – and even criminalize – the implementation of any international standard on pandemics.”
