Google Censors Putin Opposition Ahead of Election

Google will continue its trend of doing the bidding of foreign governments and meddling in their elections, according to a new report.

“Google has taken down YouTube ads by Alexei Navalny, a critic of President Vladimir Putin, ahead of elections for regional governors in Russia,” the report said. “The videos showed Mr Navalny calling for Russians to take part in protests on 9 September against raising the retirement age.”

The latest scandal regarding the tech giant working with oppressive regimes comes on the heels of a report that the company is engaged with the Chinese government to build a censored search engine which will protect the Communist regime. To Google, cash is king. Humanity is only secondary.

“We consider all justified appeals from state bodies,” said Google in a statement. “We also require advertisers to act in accordance with the local law and our advertising policies.”

Apparently, a local law prohibits advertisements within 24 hours of an “official poll.”

But Google has inexplicably removed politically themed advertisements in different polls that did not break any laws.

“Earlier this year, it banned ads targeting voters in the Republic of Ireland’s referendum on abortion,” according to the report. “At the time, the technology giant said the move was part of an effort to safeguard the integrity of elections globally.”

It appears that Google is deciding what information to platform based on its own self-interest and political leaning.

Monday, Tucker Carlson of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” revealed a bombshell email from a Google executive, who openly admitted that the most powerful tech company in the world shilled for Hillary R. Clinton in her failed 2016 presidential bid.

Big League Politics reported:

“An email obtained exclusively by this show reveals that a senior Google employee deployed the company’s resources to increase voter turnout in ways she believed would help the Clinton campaign win in the last election,” Carlson said.

The November 9, 2016 email was sent by Eliana Murillo, the former Head of Multicultural Marketing at Google. The email was subsequently  forwarded by two Google executives, according to Carlson.

“In her email, Murillo touts Google’s multifaceted efforts to boost Hispanic turnout in the election,” Carlson said. “She knows that Latinos voted in record-breaking numbers, especially in states like Florida, Nevada, and Arizona.”

Murillo described Arizona as a “key state for us,” meaning Democrats.

“[Google] supported partners like Voto Latino to pay for rides to the polls in key states,” Carlson said. “Murillo then says that Google helped Voto Latino create ad campaigns to promote those rides. At the end of her email, Murillo makes it clear that Google was working to get Hillary Clinton elected.

Google is quickly becoming a corporate overlord with the ability to make a mockery of political institutions globally. It’s power must be reigned in before it usurps total control.
