Green Party Candidate Jill Stein Calls Out Democrats Who Believe She is Hurting Joe Biden’s Re-Election Chances

Jill Stein is making it clear that Democrats who claim that her third party efforts hurt their electoral chances have no idea what they’re talking about.

Since 2016, Democratic pundits have argued that Hilary Clinton lost her election to former President Donald Trump because Stein allegedly took votes away from the former Secretary of State.

“She was upset with everybody but herself,” she said of Clinton’s butthurt response. In Clinton’s book “What Happened”, she argued there were “more than enough Stein voters to swing the result, just like Ralph Nader did in Florida and New Hampshire in 2000 [to enable George Bush to defeat Al Gore]”.

Clinton once described Stein as a “Russian asset.” Stein declared it is “preposterous” for Democrats to assert that she is ruining President Biden’s chances of staying in office.

Stein told the Sunday Times that Biden has only himself to blame for his diminishing support. Namely, his foreign and domestic policies that have overstretched American manpower and financial resources.

Stein proclaimed that attacks on third party presidential candidates as “spoilers” were anti-democratic in nature and a distraction from bad policies that politically alienate millions of Americans from the political process.

“Joe Biden doesn’t need a third party in order to lose this election,” Stein declared in an interview following her announcement to be the Green Party’s candidate for the 2024 election cycle. “Young people … are already pulling out of Biden’s campaign. They’re not coming out for him. So he’s already losing.”

When Stein last ran for the presidency in 2016, she picked up slightly over one 1% support. She scoffed at the assertion that she facilitated Trump’s successful presidential campaign in 2016 as “a preposterous presumption [that] reflects the perspective of power holders who don’t want to lose their grip on power”.

She continued: “In 2016, the last time I ran, we had about 1.4 [to] 1.5 million votes. In the same election, approximately seven million Democrats stopped voting Democratic and crossed over to vote for Trump because they were tired of being thrown under the bus by the Democratic Party.

That’s the problem. You also had 100 million people who stayed home. These are the real numbers that determine the outcomes of elections rather than around the margins of what a third party has gotten. The powers that be want to focus on those margins to try to explain away their losses rather than confront the real problem.”

“In a nutshell, I’m offering a campaign from outside of a system that most voters feel has failed them,” she stressed. “I’m running to ensure that there is a very strong, pro-worker, anti-war, climate emergency agenda that’s front and center in the discussion of the election and which is on the ballot and a choice for voters across the country.”

Stein dismissed claims that she had no chance of winning. “What makes you think it’s not a run for the White House?” she stated. “This is what the American people are demanding. If you look at polls now, it’s about 63 per cent, an all-time record high of people who are saying that the two establishment parties have failed us and we need a different party that actually serves the people.”

“I’m running with the Green Party — we do not take corporate contributions, we don’t accept money from corporate PACs [fundraising committees]. … Are you suggesting that the American people be denied what they’re demanding? They should be allowed that,” she added.

Stein is right to call out Democrats like Joe Biden. His policies — immigration, foreign policy, public security, economics, etc. — have clearly failed and have alienated millions of Americans. If Biden loses, it’s not because of Jill Stein. It’s because Democrat public policy, along with Republican measures, are failing the US.
