Harry Reid Lusts For Willard ‘Mitt’ Romney Primary Challenge to Trump

A former Democratic Senator for Nevada is pushing GOP establishment hack and failed 2012 presidential candidate Sen. Willard “Mitt” Romney (“R”-Utah) to run against President Donald J. Trump in 2020.
“Former Nevada Sen. Harry Reid said Thursday that he thinks President Donald Trump has no conscience and said he’d like to see Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney challenge Trump in 2020 for the GOP nomination for president,” according to the Washington Times.
Of course Reid, whose abrupt retirement came in the wake of several corruption scandals, would endorse Romney. The sooner one of these elitist D.C. politicians retakes the White House, the uniparty can get back to doing what it does best – screwing ordinary Americans.
Reid reportedly called Trump “amoral” and said he “doesn’t have a conscience.” In his infinite wisdom, he also said that “the wall does not have popular support.” He must not have been cogent during 2015 and 2016, when millions of Americans – literally – attended Trump’s campaign rallies and chanted “build the wall.” Leave it to the D.C. establishment class to be so blatantly out of touch with actual Americans.
“Reid said later in the interview that he didn’t think there was much more Democrat Hillary Clinton could have done to defeat Trump in the 2016 election, calling Trump’s win “’an aberration,'” the report said.
Reid’s endorsement of Romney – whose crowning achievement as a “conservative” politician was bringing socialized healthcare to the people of Massachusetts as governor – is the perfect example of how the ruling class operates. Party matters not. What matters is that a fellow elitist – a political insider – runs the country. The rest is simply theatre.
