Hispanic Caucus Wants ICE to Let Illegal Aliens Loose During Wuhan Virus Crisis

Published

on

John Binder of Breitbart News reported that the Congressional Hispanic Caucus is pushing for all illegal aliens in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody be released in the midst of the Wuhan Virus crisis.

The Hispanic Caucus is led by the failed presidential candidate Joaquin Castro.

In various statements to the media, Hispanic Caucus members urged ICE officials to release all illegal aliens and border-crossers in custody based on fears that the Wuhan Virus may spread throughout detention centers.

“ICE must release all detainees now before lives are lost,” Castro declared on behalf of the Hispanic Caucus.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has declared that ICE’s detention of illegal aliens and people who cross the border during the Wuhan virus pandemic “a humanitarian crisis that is right on our doorstep.”

“A decision to do nothing is a decision to do harm,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.

Immigration attorneys working for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) — a George Soros-funded outfit — have been calling ICE to release all illegal aliens and border-crossers into the U.S. to keep the Wuhan Virus from spreading in detention centers.

More than 3,000 doctors all over the U.S. sent a letter to ICE officials urging illegal aliens and border-crossers be released into the U.S.. Detainees, the doctors contend, “should be released while their legal cases are being processed to avoid preventable deaths and mitigate the harm from a [coronavirus] outbreak.”

If the Hispanic Caucus get their wish, 40,000 illegal aliens and border-crossers, currently in ICE detention centers, would be let loose into the U.S. while they wait on their immigration hearings and deportation orders.

Activist judges in New Jersey and Pennsylvania have already released a couple dozen illegal aliens from ICE custody. Illegal aliens being held in Pennsylvania started a hunger strike demanding their release.

Open borders advocates are showing their true colors during the Wuhan Virus crisis.

In a time when people should be calling for strong borders, these radicals want to encourage nation-destroying actions such as letting illegal aliens on the loose.

But a close look at the American Christian church’s plans relating to its name reveal that it’s played with the idea far more seriously than they’re making it seem.

Reports of a name change first emerged in a Washington Post article published on Tuesday. SBC President JD Greear told the Post that “hundreds of churches” affiliated with the denomination had “committed” to using the phrase “Great Commission Baptist” as an alternative to the denomination’s longtime moniker. The change would come as Greear touts his support of the Black Lives Matter, although he’s been careful in pointing out he doesn’t support any formal organization related to the movement. Greear also is renaming the church he personally pastors with the term.

The SBC’s 2021 convention will also organize under the motto of “We Are Great Commission Baptists.” Sounds a lot like a name change, even if the SBC’s leadership is steadfastly maintaining it isn’t.

The name ‘Great Commission Baptist’ is theologically sound in the Christian religion, but it’s somewhat questionable that the organization’s leader appears to be emphasizing it at a moment in which political correctness is making its entryism into many Christian churches and organizations.

It seems as if the organization’s figurehead is keen to present himself as a liberal-style suburban Evangelical to the Washington Post, but he changed his tune quite quickly when the rank and file membership of Southern Baptist churches learned that he was promoting the idea of a name change.
