House Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good Endorses Rick Becker’s Campaign For US Congress

Rep. Bob Good (R-VA), who chairs the United States House Freedom Caucus, will endorse North Dakota congressional candidate Rick Becker for U.S. Congress, per a report by the Daily Caller.

Becker is vying for North Dakota’s sole Congressional seat after Kelly Armstrong announced her campaign for the governorship of North Dakota. Becker served in the North Dakota State House from 2012-2022, where he founded the Bastiat Caucus. During his time in office, Becker called for tighter budgets and expanded gun rights.

The Republican primary is slated for June 11 and Becker has two rivals. A poll released in March revealed that Becker enjoys a substantial lead over his primary rivals. On top of that, Becker has received endorsements from Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

“It is my privilege to endorse, Dr. Rick Becker for Congress in North Dakota. Rick is the kind of courageous conservative warrior that we need in Congress, fighting to save our country,” Good said to the Daily Caller.

Becker told the Caller the following about Good’s endorsement: “I am honored to receive the endorsement of Freedom Caucus Chairman Congressman Bob Good. His unwavering commitment to our conservative values and dedication to serving the American people is exactly the type of leadership I plan to bring with me to Washington.”

Good’s endorsement comes following other House Freedom Caucus members endorsement of Becker which includes Reps. Scott Perry (R-PA), Mary Miller (R-IL), Andy Harris (R-MD), and Warren Davidson (R-OH).

Should Becker come out victorious, he will be a great liberty conservative addition to the US House. For years, liberty-minded reps like Thomas Massie (R-KY) have largely been on an island of statism in Congress.

However, that could be changing in 2024, as Rick Becker appears to be in a good position to represent North Dakota’s only congressional district. Now, liberty conservatives just need to provide financial or logistical support to Becker so that he can come out on top on November 5, 2024.

This fight will certainly not be easy.
