House Judiciary Report Exposes Biden Regime for Twice Releasing Illegal Alien Caught Wielding Machete Outside of US Capitol

On two occasions, the Biden regime’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) let loose an illegal alien into the United States who was subsequently caught with a machete outside of the United States Capitol building in Washington, DC. This revelation comes from an interim staff report published by Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan’s House Judiciary Committee and California Congresswoman Tom McClintock’s immigration subcommittee,
The individual in question is the 23-year-old illegal alien Jose Leonardo Marquez-Marquez, who hails from Venezuela.
“For more than three-and-a-half years, President Joe Biden and ‘border czar’ Vice President Kamala Harris have orchestrated the largest mass release of illegal aliens into the country in American history,” the report started.
“Well over 7 million illegal aliens are now in the United States because of the Biden-Harris administration’s radical immigration policies. The results are all too predictable: cities overwhelmed, public services crushed, and communities shattered by the criminality of some illegal aliens,” the report added.
Per a Breitbart News report, US Capitol Police arrested Marquez-Marquez on December 26, 2023 when he was caught walking outside the capitol “with a knife, a brick, and a machete.”
Marquez-Marquez was initially arrested close to the US-Mexico border in Eagle Pass, Texas, towards the end of August 2022. The day after Border Patrol agents apprehend him, Marquez-Marquez was let loose into the American interior with DHS officials asserting his release was “due to detention capacity at the Eagle Pass North Station Sub: Soft-Sided Facility.”
Though Jordan and McClintock highlighted that DHS’s own detention space data demonstrated that the agency had beds available to hold Marquez-Marquez in their custody but opted to not do so.
During a check-in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a warrant for Marquez-Marquez’s arrest was issued as ICE agents deemed a “priority” for deportation. Marquez-Marquez ended up being released from ICE custody.
Two months following his check-in with ICE, Marquez-Marquez was arrested outside the US Capitol. Federal prosecutors claimed that the Venezuelan national was carrying a fake visa, a fraudulent Social Security Number, and was carrying a machete in addition to a brick.
The report highlighted that charges against Marquez-Marquez were eventually dropped and he ended up being transferred to ICE custody.
Marquez-Marquez is still in ICE custody as awaits deportation.
The Biden regime is clearly opening the mass migration floodgates to all manner of criminal aliens. Those are the many dangers of mass migration. Undoubtedly, if Kamala Harris wins in November, even more of these types of migrants will be allowed to run loose in the US.
