Hungary Demands No More European Aid for Ukraine Until They Explain Where the Money is Going

Hungary has had enough of the scam that the corrupt Ukrainian government is pulling. They are demanding that the European Union (EU) halt future aid payments until Ukraine can explain exactly where the funds are going.

Hungary is opposing the EU’s plans to give an additional $50 billion in financial aid to Ukraine until they explain where the last $70 billion went.

“One thing is clear, we Hungarians… will not give more money to Ukraine until they say where the previous around 70 billion euros worth of funds has gone,” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said to Hungarian radio.

“And we find it utterly ridiculous and absurd, that we should contribute more money to finance debt service costs of a loan, from which we have still not received the funds we are entitled to get,” he added.

Big League Politics has reported on the many billions that Ukraine has soaked up from the West in order to continue their unwinnable war against Russia:

On December 22, 2022, the United States Senate passed a $1.7 trillion spending bill, which means that American taxpayers have had to fork over more than $110 billion in aid to Ukraine in less than one year.

Earlier in 2022, Congress approved $66 billion in aid to Ukraine. The additional $45 billion featured in the omnibus bill would make that figure total out to $111 billion.

According to Kristina Wong of Breitbart News, this figure “would exceed by tens of billions the estimated average the U.S. spent per year on a full-scale war in Afghanistan, which had more than a hundred thousand U.S. troops deployed to the country at one point.”

The Biden administration has promised to support Ukraine for “as long as it takes.”

The $45 billion in Ukraine aid contained in the omnibus spending bill is actually higher than the $37 billion requested by the Biden regime.

During a press conference on December 20, McConnell stated that the “number one priority” for Republicans is to send more aid to Ukraine.

“Providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now according to most Republicans. That’s sort of how we see the challenges confronting the country at the moment,” he proclaimed.

In passing this omnibus bill, the Senate was able to keep the government funded through the upcoming fiscal year. On top of that, it was able to prevent the government from shutting down prior to Christmas.

Hungary deserves to be applauded for standing up against this boondoggle.
