HYPOCRITE: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Pays Former Blackwater Contractor for Private Security Detail
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is paying thousands for private security detail as she pushes to defund the police, including a payout of over $4,000 to a former Blackwater contractor.
According to her Federal Election Commission (FEC) records, Ocasio-Cortez paid Tullis Worldwide Protection at least $4,636 for “security services.” That security organization was founded by Devin Tullis, a former Blackwater employee who also provides services to foreign clients like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
“We’re not hiring social workers,” Tullis said of his operation.
Blackwater was involved in military contracting in Iraq and has been accused of engaging in heavy-handed tactics in the region.
“Out of one corner of her mouth she is attacking the police and out of the other she is hiring cops who have gone private to protect her. So AOC, which is it?” long-time Democratic operative Jon Reinish said to the New York Post.
Ocasio-Cortez has publicly opposed the war on Iraq and called for defunding law enforcement, but she embraces the individuals she claims to oppose in campaign speeches when it helps her own aims. She has spent over $34,000 on private security in total throughout 2021.
Big League Politics has reported on how Ocasio-Cortez repeatedly plays the victim and calls for her mob to enforce Big Brother restrictions against the free speech of the American people:
“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is urging her supporters to act as online hall monitors after being caught in a lie about last month’s raucous Capitol protest.
Ocasio-Cortez had recounted a story earlier this week about a supposed threat to her physical person during the Capitol event on January 6th. Ocasio-Cortez recounted rioters besieging a House office building where she was present. However, there’s no reason to believe that riotous protestors ever entered the Cannon House Office building, although those present within the office evacuated during the event.
Ocasio-Cortez was called out by whistleblowers for her embellishment of the Capitol riot. Ocasio-Cortez had told a dramatic story of a police officer supposedly intimidating her in a Tuesday livestream, playing the role of a victim. Ocasio-Cortez had claimed that she believed her own death was imminent when the officer knocked on the door of the House office she was in, believing that marauding rioters had arrived to assassinate her.
In response, Ocasio-Cortez issued a campaign email late Wednesday night instructing her followers to report content that included the tag #AlexandriaOcasioSmollett, comparing the congresswoman to the infamous Chicago actor who faked a Trump-related hate crime.
It’s likely that demands for constant censorship will become a new card in the Democratic routine. Anytime any leftist faces criticism or is caught in a lie, they’ll cry “misinformation” and try to pressure Big Tech oligarchs to step in and censor content on their behalf.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s hypocrisy is evident, and Democrats who want to defund the police do not want to lessen their own personal safety as they put communities at great risk of violence with their reprehensible policies.
