IDENTITY WARS: Bernie Accuses Swalwell of ‘Ageism’ As Kamala Goes At Biden For Racism

Published

on

The Democrat presidential primary is already rocked by multiple accusations of identity politics violations.

In the case of Joe Biden’s racism — including his recent comments about going to “the hood,” which were spurned by hip-hop sites, and his past support for segregation — Democrats have a very real line of attack rooted in the prejudiced history of the Democrat Party.

Bernie Sanders, meanwhile, is making himself look silly both by crying “ageism” and also by picking Eric Swalwell as his feuding partner. Swalwell is about as lightweight as it gets in the Democrat primary, since he is mostly known for once Twitter-threatening to nuclear bomb the American people.

“I think that’s kind of ageism, to tell you the truth,” Sanders said when Swalwell asked Biden to “pass the torch,” stealing a line from John F. Kennedy.

Sanders and Biden are both 76 years old.

Biden’s racism is making Kamala Harris a more prominent contender for the nomination.

A top Joe Biden 2020 campaign fundraiser informed the former vice president that he is leaving the campaign effort, spelling further trouble for the beleaguered Democrat from Delaware.

“I had actually let the campaign know I’d pulled back my support of Biden for now,” said Tom McInerney, a lawyer from San Francisco and past Obama bundler who also noted “I would imagine I’m not alone.”

“I don’t think he did well last night,” McInerney said in an interview with CNBC.

Biden is also being slammed for previously supporting segregation, saying in a 1975 interview that de-segregation undercuts the concept of “black pride.”

The intrepid Alana Goodman reported on Biden’s 1975 NPR interview in which he said the following: “I think the concept of busing … that we are going to integrate people so that they all have the same access and they learn to grow up with one another and all the rest, is a rejection of the whole movement of black pride.”

Biden called desegregation “a rejection of the entire black awareness concept, where black is beautiful, black culture should be studied; and the cultural awareness of the importance of their own identity, their own individuality.”

Biden also noted that he asked “the blacks on my staff” if they felt he had a racism “in me that’s deep-seated that I don’t know.”

Interesting.

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden made another revelatory admission in his speech at a Carlyle  Hotel fundraiser, telling wealthy financial donors that nothing would change if he is elected president.

“The truth of the matter is, you all, you all know, you all know in your gut what has to be done. We can disagree in the margins, but the truth of the matter is it’s all within our wheelhouse and nobody has to be punished. No one’s standard of living will change, nothing would fundamentally change,” Biden stated.

Biden’s gaffes on the campaign trail, which continuously reveal his true thinking about race and class, are making him the enemy of the rest of the Democratic field and their supporters, and even a large cross-section of the left-wing media.

Biden is getting roundly mocked for his persistent efforts to paint himself as Barack Obama’s best friend and Obama’s favored candidate in the presidential race, despite evidence to the contrary.

“How many times is Biden gonna say something stupid?” Obama reportedly said on the 2008 campaign trail after somewhat reluctantly choosing Biden as his running mate, as reported by the tell-all book Game Change.

As the U.S. Elections Approaches, Thousands of Immigrants are Gaining U.S. Citizenship

America’s foreign voter base continues to grow ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

John Binder of Breitbart News noted that this is “adding a bloc of first-time foreign-born voters to the electorate.”

The last few months has seen delays in naturalization ceremonies thanks to the Wuhan virus pandemic. As of June, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency restarted ceremonies, with 2,000 immigrants being naturalized according to a report published by Camila DeChalus on June 10.

Other immigrants, who were expected to receive citizenship in 2020, are now pressing legal action against the federal government.

Prior to the crisis, USICS was naturalizing immigrants to the tune of 60,000 monthly.

Binder broke down the overall legal migration numbers:

Legal immigration levels — where 1.2 million immigrants secure Green Cards and nearly a million obtain naturalized citizenship annually — has driven up the nation’s foreign-born voting population to record levels.

The Breitbart writer highlighted another demographic trend that is taking place across America:

In February, Pew Research Center revealed that for the first time since 1970, one-in-ten U.S. voters will have been born outside the country in the 2020 election. High legal immigration levels have also ensured that Hispanic voters will replace black Americans as the largest voting minority for the first time in U.S. history.

According to research from The Atlantic, the New York Times, and Axios, Democrats tend to benefit from an increased foreign-born population.

Binder gave an overview about what these foreign voter numbers look like:

The Atlantic‘s Ronald Brownstein reveals nearly 90 percent of House congressional districts with a foreign-born population above the national average are won by Democrats. This means every congressional district with a foreign-born population exceeding 14 percent has a 90 percent chance of electing Democrats and only a ten percent chance of electing a Republican.

Exit polling data indicated that Trump won 49 percent of native-born Americans’ votes, whereas Clinton won 45 percent of the vote. As far as foreign voters were concerned, Clinton trounced Trump by raking in 64 percent of the immigrant vote, while Trump got only 31 percent.

At the moment, the Binder points out that the “U.S. is on track to import about 15 million new foreign-born voters in the next two decades due to existing legal immigration levels.”

Binder continued:

Those 15 million new foreign-born voters include about eight million who will arrive through chain migration, where newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the country.

The U.S. is undergoing a massive demographic transformation thanks to public policy.

In previous eras, migration waves would at least be contained by legislative pauses that allowed for assimilation.

But now, elites are content by keeping the illegal and legal migration gravy train going without any pause in sight.

Given immigrant voting trends, many freedoms such as the right to bear arms and free speech could be in jeopardy thanks to Democrats gaining a new voting bloc that will help them stay in power for a long time.
