Ilhan Omar Misleads Supporters, Funnels Coronavirus Relief Donations Into Democrat Campaign Portal
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) appears to have been running a charity scam of sorts to raise political funds from individuals thinking they were helping the poor and needy.
Omar made a since-deleted post on her Twitter account in which she asked for donations for Minnesota Food Share, a charitable organization in the state. However, the link Omar gave in her post was to Act Blue, a Democrat Party fundraising portal.

Omar’s message received a response from Adrienne Dorn, who works as the executive director of Greater Minneapolis Community Connections (GMCC), calling out the Somali refugee lawmaker for her misleading tweet. GMCC is tasked with administrating the Minnesota Foodshare program.
“Ilhan Omar had nothing to do with this project. I do not know where this money is going to,” the tweet posted by Dorn read.
Yet another @IlhanMN campaign finance problem:@IlhanMN posted this tweet on Tuesday, then deleted it at some point after it received this reply. pic.twitter.com/S9kS6JqiWZ

“The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign brings together organizations, businesses, faith communities, and individuals to help keep 300 food shelves statewide stocked throughout the year,” the organization states on its website, noting that contributions are “secured year-round from corporations, individuals, foundations, and businesses.”
They encourage supporters of their project to donate to the cause directly, not through a third-party fundraising platform such as ActBlue.

This is not the first time that Omar has been caught doing dirty dealings with campaign funds. Big League Politics has reported on how Omar has funneled campaign funds to her lover, causing his family to be destroyed as a result:
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has been called many different names since the incendiary figure was elected into Congress last year: fraud, extremist, anti-Semite, Islamist, and now home-wrecker…
Tim Mynett, 38, has worked as a Democratic Party operative for far-left Muslim democrats like Omar and former Congressman Keith Ellison. He allegedly threw away his marriage to his long-time wide despite the fact that the couple has a 13-year-old son.
“The parties physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar,” according to the court papers.
Beth Mynett was allegedly “willing to fight for the marriage” and willing to forgive her husband even though he was unfaithful and dishonest toward her, but he was not reciprocal. He desperately wanted to run off with his Somali suitor.
Omar, 37, has paid Tim Mynett roughly $230,000 through his E. Street Group for a myraid of services including internet advertising, political consulting, digital media, and travel expenses since 2018. The far left “Squad” member is apparently not above mixing work with pleasure.
“Defendant’s more recent travel and long work hours now appear to be more related to his affair with Rep. Omar than with his actual work commitments,” the court papers claim.
Omar may be the most disreputable member of the entire Congress, and that is saying something. She has displayed the type of governance that multiculturalism will bring to the U.S. if it is not stopped.
