ILHAN OMAR’S MINNESOTA: Roving Mobs Target Drunk People in Minneapolis for Vicious Gang Assaults

Minneapolis is getting enriched.

Published

on

Minneapolis police are asking their City Council to fund 14 more officers to deal with a crime wave, as mobs of roving young men are regularly targeting drunk men for vicious gang beat-downs.

Law enforcement are requesting three more investigators, eight additional neighborhood outreach officers, and three more traffic enforcement personnel. Mayor Jacob Frey is standing with Police Chief Medaria Arradondo, arguing that more officers are necessary to deal with this growing problem.

Business owners have complained about the gang beat-downs, which may be racially motivated. One recent instance occurred at Target Field Plaza and happened in broad daylight. It involved a group of African-American men targeting a lone Caucasian individual, knocking him unconscious, stomping his body, throwing a potted plant on him, and then crushing him with a bicycle during a robbery.

“I don’t think I have ever seen anything like what I saw at Target Field,” said Ken Sherman, who owns 7 Steakhouse and Sushi.

“Look, stealing is one thing. But the level of viciousness goes far beyond I think anything any of us who are civil people imagine,” Sherman added.

There is a 53 percent increase in robberies year-to-year in Minneapolis since 2018. Mayor Frey believes a greater police presence would help send the message that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.

“We want officers out there on the street walking the beat, preventing some of these serious crimes before they take place to begin with,” Frey said.

He is not getting much support from the city council, as there are several councilmembers who are happy to keep the status quo in place.

“I want to tie our investments to structural change that improves the performance of the police department,” councilman Steve Fletcher said.

“Then we do need to careful about who we’re targeting. Because you’re basically criminalizing standing on the street,” Fletcher added.

Sherman believes that the city is suffering because of the soft-on-crime policies pushed by liberal public officials.

“I think the core of the problem is a city council that is more concerned about being politically correct than making people safe,” Sherman said.

They certainly won’t be receiving any help from their Congresswoman, who is Somali-born socialist Rep. Ilhan Omar. She is more focused on punishing white people and demonizing the President than she is with fixing problems within her own crime-ridden district.

“I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country,” Omar said in an interview from earlier this year.

“And so if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe — Americans safe inside of this country — we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men,” she added.

Omar has also targeted President Trump with her hateful, divisive rhetoric.

Minneapolis is quickly looking like a city within a third-world country, and their representative to Congress is indicative of that.

HUGE: 5th Circuit Court Affirms Texas Abortion Ban During Coronavirus Pandemic

A big league victory for sanity.

The 5th Circuit Court has issued a decision allowing the state of Texas to ban elective abortions during the coronavirus pandemic, as medical supplies are in high demand to treat victims of the illness.

The panel made the ruling by a 2-1 margin on Tuesday. The majority cited “the escalating spread of COVID-19, and the state’s critical interest in protecting the public health” in making their decision.

Judges Stuart Kyle Duncan, a Trump appointee, and Jennifer Elrod, an appointee of George W. Bush, made up the majority while Judge James Dennis, a Clinton appointee, dissented with the ruling.

“That settled rule allows the state to restrict, for example, one’s right to peaceably assemble, to publicly worship, to travel, and even to leave one’s home,” the majority wrote. “The right to abortion is no exception.”

The panel also determined that the lower court erred when they refused to apply the Supreme Court’s test to determine the constitutionality of abortion restrictions. The SCOTUS test pertains to the legal review of weighing the burden on a woman’s access to abortion services against the medical benefits of the restrictions on abortion.

The majority ultimately determined that the lower court “failed to balance (the Texas restriction’s) temporary burdens on abortion against its benefits in thwarting a public health crisis.”

“The bottom line is this: when faced with a society-threatening epidemic, a state may implement emergency measures that curtail constitutional rights so long as the measures have at least some “real or substantial relation” to the public health crisis,” Judge Duncan and Judge Elrod wrote in their majority opinion.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued a guidance last month declaring that all abortions “not medically necessary to preserve the life or health” of the woman would be considered a “non-essential” medical service throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Doctors who refuse to comply and murder babies in the womb despite the order are subject to “penalties of up to $1,000 or 180 days of jail time.”

The Democrat on the panel is dismayed with the opinion of the majority and would have preferred to keep the baby-mutilating industry going in Texas while coronavirus poses a serious threat to public safety.

“In a time where panic and fear already consume our daily lives, the majority’s opinion inflicts further panic and fear on women in Texas by depriving them, without justification, of their constitutional rights, exposing them to the risks of continuing an unwanted pregnancy, as well as the risks of travelling to other states in search of time-sensitive medical care,” Dennis wrote.

Because of this ruling, Texas is permitted to make common-sense decisions to conserve medical supplies during an unprecedented crisis.
