Impeachment Cheerleader Justin Amash Wants to Give Green Cards to Violent Gang Members

The open borders libertarian shows his true colors yet again.

Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI), the leading GOP cheerleader for President Donald Trump’s impeachment, continues to subvert the rule of law with his quixotic voting record. Earlier today, he voted ‘no’ on a motion to deny green cards to gang members.

Republican lawmakers proposed a motion to amend the DREAM Act to permit the use of federal and state databases to deny green cards to individuals known for gang activity.

Even 10 Democrats – Brindisi of New York, Craig of Minnesota, Cunningham of South Carolina, Finkenauer of Iowa, Golden of Maine, Gottheimer of New Jersey, Harder of California, Horn of Oklahoma, Slotkin of Michigan, and Van Drew of New Jersey – crossed party lines to vote for the common sense measure.

Amash was the only Republican to stand with the Democrats to ensure that gang members could more easily become U.S. citizens. The motion to amend ultimately failed by a 202-221 margin.

This news should come as no surprise to anyone who is familiar with Amash’s voting record. He has opposed Kate’s Law and banning federal funds to sanctuary cities, opposed Trump’s emergency measures declaration at the border, and opposed a resolution against illegals in the voting booth.

Amash’s votes in favor of illegal immigration underscore the point made by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) about the Congressman’s brazenly Democratic allegiances.

“He’s been in Congress quite some time,” McCarthy said of Amash. “I think he’s only ever asked one question in all the committees that he’s been in. He votes more with Nancy Pelosi than he ever votes with me. It’s a question whether he’s even in our Republican Conference as a whole.”

It may be even worse than McCarthy described, as Amash has staked out a position on impeachment further Left than even House Majority Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Amash’s position to impeach Trump even though he was ultimately cleared of any Russian collusion in the Mueller Report is more along the line of socialist Islamic Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the new anti-American extremists of the radicalized Democratic Party.

While Amash may be relishing positive press from the fake news and praise from the ‘Never Trump’ resistance, his conservative western Michigan constituents are enraged by his frequent betrayals.

A grassroots ‘Squash Amash’ rally is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 14 at 11:30am outside of his office in Grand Rapids, MI.

A man identified by prosecutors as an illegal alien has been arrested in the beating and torture of his own son, with the boy’s stepmother being charged with murder in his death.

Emrik Osuna, a nine year old boy, was discovered starved and covered with bruises at the residence of Erik Osuna-Gutierrez and Monique Osuna. First responders who were summoned to the Meridian, Idaho home later pronounced the boy dead.

Police reports indicate that Monique Osuna has admitted to police that she kicked her stepson in the groin and beat him with various household objects, among them a frying pan, a wooden spoon, a backscratcher, a belt, and even a dog leash. She’s being charged with murder, and Erik Osuna is being charged with felony injury to a child, infliction of great bodily harm and destruction of evidence in the abuse of the child.

The couple allegedly subjected the nine year old boy to a sickening regimen of continual child abuse, such as forcing him to exercise for hours, locking him into a closet, and feeding him starvation rations of water and rice for weeks. Prosecutors are alleging that Erik Osuna allowed the abuse to happen, and that the sick couple only called 911 hours after Emrik Osuna was in severe medical distress.

Idaho prosecutors have identified Erik Osuna as an illegal immigrant, pointing him out as a flight risk in pre-trial bond hearings in the case. They urged a judge to deny Osuna a bond because of his status as an illegal, arguing that he could attempt to flee because he doesn’t have many personal connections in the state.

Both Osunas are being held on $2 million bonds in the Idaho jail system, and neither have entered a plea in response to the charges. Their next court appearance is scheduled for September 17th.
