Jake Tapper Lashes Out at Congresswoman Boebert Over a Joke

Jake Tapper called out the firebrand Congresswoman over a joke she made.
Recently firebrand Congresswoman Lauren Boebert cracked a joke about Squad member Ilhan Omar’s support for terrorist ideology. “So the other night on the House floor was not my first jihad squad moment. So I was getting into an elevator with one of my staffers. And he and I are – we’re leaving the Capitol. We’re going back to my office and we get in the elevator, and I see a Capitol Police officer running hurriedly to the elevator,.”
“I see fret all over his face, and he’s reaching… The door’s shutting, like I can’t – I can’t open it – like, what’s happening? I look to my left, and there she is. Ilhan Omar. I said, ‘Well she doesn’t have a backpack, we should be fine.’”
Jake Tapper of CNN took to Twitter saying “This is pure anti-Muslim bigotry and as such is completely contrary to what the USA is supposed to stand for. That this is tolerated in American politics and the House GOP is an indictment against anyone who is silent about it.”
Jake Tapper is the same “reporter” that featured the phony Russia dossier on his show and has yet to apologize for spreading this falsehood. Tapper like much of the mainstream media has also repeatedly used his bully pulpit to attack Republicans. As reported by Big League Politics, Congresswoman Boebert has already apologized for her joke.
“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar once told the Council on American Islamic Relations. In addition, Omar has advocated on behalf of ISIS fighters living in Minnesota. Omar’s history of Jihad advocacy should in itself raise eyebrows. What Tapper is defending says more about him then it does about Boebert’s joke.
