Jan 6 Was One Year Ago Today – And The Lying Left Still Whines About It

Today is January 6th, 2022, marking a one-year anniversary since a group of Americans stormed the United States Capitol on January 6th of 2021.
The storming of the Capitol was followed by a coordinated campaign by the media and bad actors of the establishment, comprised of both Democrats and more neoconservative Republicans such as Liz Cheney, alike to falsely paint the protest-turned-riot as an ‘insurrection’ against the United States of America. Such language heavily implies that those who entered the United States Capitol on that fateful day were guilty of a form of sedition – a crime that the FBI has not alleged towards a single protestor thus far.
A notable and tragic death that occurred on January 6th was the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbit, an unarmed veteran Trump supporter. The unarmed Ashli Babbit was shot and killed in an intentional homicide perpetrated by the now-identified Officer Michael Byrd.
Byrd did not hesitate to pat himself on the back for what he viewed as a heroic homicide that he committed on that chaotic day.
“I know that day I saved countless lives,” Byrd said back in August. “I know members of Congress, as well as my fellow officers and staff, were in jeopardy and in serious danger. And that’s my job.”
White House occupant Joe Biden has already been working overtime to continue stoking the flames of division. The possibly dementia-ridden man gave a speech Thursday in which he tore up former President Donald Trump for his “web of lies” about the 2020 election.
“The former president of the United States of America has created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election,” Biden said.
“He has done so because he values power over principle because he sees his own interests as more important than his country’s interests. Because his bruised ego matters more to him than our democracy or our constitution.”
Biden grew more extreme in his rhetoric, even going as far as to falsely accuse the former president of intentionally attempting to prevent a peaceful transfer of power.
“One year ago today in this sacred place, democracy was attacked,” Biden said. “The will of the people was under assault. The constitution, our constitution, faced the gravest of threats.”
Biden continued his lie: “For the first time in our history, a president had not just lost an election, he tried to prevent a peaceful transfer of power as a violent mob breached the Capitol.”
Former President Donald Trump explicitly called for peaceful protesting numerous times on January 6th of 2021.
“I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence!” Former President Donald Trump posted on the day of the event. “Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”
