Jim Jordan Issues Subpoenas to Former Biden Regime Officials in Investigation Concerning Government Censorship

On November 30, 2023, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan issued subpoenas to two ex-Biden regime officials calling on them to turn over any information on any role they had in censoring American social media users’ opinions.
The subpoenas were sent to White House Senior Advisor for the COVID Response Team, Andrew Slavitt and Robert Flaherty, the former Director of Digital Strategy for the Biden regime.
“The Committee on the Judiciary is conducting oversight of how and to what extent the Executive Branch has coerced and colluded with companies and other intermediaries to censor speech,” Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, wrote in letters directed to both Slavitt and Flaherty.
Slavin’s letter continued: “The Committee has obtained documents that demonstrate the central role you played in communicating the Biden White House’s censorship efforts to social media companies, including the White House’s demands to censor true information, memes, satire, and other constitutionally protected forms of expression.”
On a previous occasion, Jordan made the claim that the Biden regime was involved in putting pressure on Google to censor Americans on YouTube.
In the letters, Jordan claims that both Slavitt and Flaherty played an instrumental role in assisting the government censor memes, satire and other discourse that is safeguarded by the First Amendment.
“To develop effective legislation, such as the possible enactment of new statutory limits on the Executive Branch’s ability to work with social media platforms and other companies to restrict the circulation of content and deplatform users, the Committee must first understand the nature of this collusion and coercion,” the letters stated.
In the concluding segment of the letter, both Slavitt and Flaherty were urged to comply with the subpoenas.

Indeed, there is clear collusion between the government and social media to destroy the right to free speech. This has to be exposed at all costs. With Republicans in charge of the House, they have a golden opportunity to expose this corruption. They can’t let it go to waste like other policy priorities they have dropped the ball on in previous generations.
The grassroots must continue dialing up the pressure on Republicans in Congress to follow through with their accountability measures and ensure that they live up to their campaign promises to hold the Biden regime and Big Tech accountable for their unholy alliance against the First Amendment.
