Jimmy Kimmel’s PSA From Doctors: “Grow The F*** Up and Get the Vaccine”

This past Tuesday late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel did what Hollywood elites do best: patronize, attack, and condescend Americans who do not kowtow to their demands.
A short video featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live involved a panel of apparent medical professionals inflating themselves before hurling insults to those who are choosing to not take a COVID-19 vaccine. The “doctors” ironically belittle dissenters on the basis of them not being “doctors” or “scientists”, conveniently ignoring that 2 in the video were not doctors at all (they stated they were nurses).
“My life is spent trying to improve and to save yours,” A doctor in a white lab coat proudly exclaims. “Oh, but you read something on Facebook?” another doctor says sarcastically. A female doctor next adds, “Your friend from high school, who sells jewelry, she posted it?” “The one who’s 53 and still builds dollhouses?” the nurse (who apparently is now a doctor) snarks.
The people in the video go on to ask rhetorical questions about if the vaccine naysayers are doctors or scientists themselves. A doctor then loudly exclaims “Then tell them to shut the fuck up!” and graciously reveals her middle finger for the world to see.
Kimmel has also interviewed the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, who complained that it is “very frustrating” when people question, talk ill, or choose not to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
“Yes, Jimmy, it is very frustrating,” Fauci said. “There’s a societal responsibility that we should all have to put an end to this outbreak. And if you have a group of people who understandably may think that they are invulnerable because they are young and healthy… and therefore it doesn’t make any difference if they get infected because they likely will do well, that’s really not the right attitude.”
It goes without saying that bully tactics like this do nothing to decrease vaccine hesitancy in the general public and if anything reinforces those beliefs. Examples like this clearly highlight the hatred those of the Hollywood elite and medical establishment harbor towards the American people, and recent trends such as Oscar ratings plummeting to record lows indicate that the feeling may be mutual.
