Joe Biden Blames “Inaccurate Information” For His Own Dismal Approval Ratings

President Joe Biden blamed what he called “inaccurate information” for his considerable unpopularity with the American public, speaking with liberal talk show host Jimmy Kimmel on Friday night.

When questioned on his approval ratings, Biden presented a series of excuses for his unpopularity.

“Well, look, here’s the deal, I think that it’s — we’ve been in less than a year. A lot has happened, and look, people are afraid. People are worried. And people are getting so much inaccurate information to them. I don’t mean about me, but about their situation. And so, they’re being told that Armageddon’s on the way.” Kimmel pivoted away with a series of softball questions for the President, recognizing the supposed immense difficulties and handicaps Biden faced in presenting competent governance as President.

Some polls have pegged Biden’s approval ratings as low as 36%, a rating that’s only been equaled in the history of post-war America by George W. Bush, a President widely considered to have been the worst to serve in the office in the country’s history. Should Biden’s dismal ratings fuel a midterm red wave, it’s not out of the question that the 2022 election could deliver a Congress poised to pass articles of impeachment through the House of Representatives.

The appearance represents the first time Biden appeared on a late night TV show. The 79-year old Biden is notoriously fearful of speaking to the press in an unchoreographed format, having been prone to embarrassing gaffes, memory problems, and incidents that have led many to question the President’s cognitive acuity. However, with Biden’s mounting unpopularity, White House handlers are seeking to tout the President to new audiences, even going so far as instructing corporate news channels on how to craft favorable coverage to the President.

Biden earlier cited the ‘QAnon’ disgraced internet religion and “extreme” elements of the Republican Party for his unpopularity, seemingly unaware that antipathy towards his “Global Governance” model of elite-corporate fusion politics extends far beyond his strawman of the opposition.
