Joe Biden is Making Gun Control a Pillar of His Re-Election Campaign

President Joe Biden wants to “finish the job” when it comes to passing gun control measures. In fact, Biden is making gun control a key pillar in his re-election campaign for the 2024 election cycle.

His reelection campaign has been releasing memos and getting in touch with the corporate media to make the case that the Biden regime will use a second term to pass massive gun grabs. As Duncan Johnson of Ammoland noted, the gun grabbers  are keen on banning one of “America’s most popular-selling centerfire rifle, the Modern Sporting Rifle (MSR)” if they get their man in office in 2024.

The Biden regime is also willing to bypass Congress to implement gun control.

“The president demonstrated that he can get things done, working across party lines when necessary, on our own where we can’t,” White House Deputy Chief of Staff Bruce Reed said to The Messenger.

Biden has repeatedly called for Congress to re-institute the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, which as Johnson mentioned the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) concluded that it “had no effect on reducing crime.”

One of the most notable gun control actions Biden has taken during his time in office was his advocacy for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to punish the firearm industry via a “zero-tolerance” policy that has experienced a significant uptick of federal firearms licenses rescinded or surrendered for minor and arbitrary paperwork errors.

The ATF also published the Final Rules. One of those regulatory changes redefined what constituted frames and receivers and the other prohibited pistols equipped with attached braces

Biden’s re-election campaign even spread a memo entitled, “Trump’s America in 2025: More Guns, More Shootings, More Deaths.”

“A Donald Trump presidency will mean more guns in schools and more guns in the hands of criminals, all because he thinks being pro-gun makes him look tough,” Biden campaign spokesperson Seth Schuster declared in a statement, per The Hill. “But his refusal to stand up to the gun lobby to protect our kids makes him weak and a coward.”

Overall, the Biden regime presents an existential threat to  Second Amendment rights. To preserve the right to bear arms, Joe Biden must be relieved of the burden of holding higher office.
