Joe Biden Tells Gun Owners That They’ll Need F-16s to Rebel Against the Government

In a recent speech, President Joe Biden threw shade at gun owners, declaring they will need F-16 fighter jets if they are serious about confronting the government.
According to a Townhall report, Biden spoke to reporters, making a reference to Thomas Jefferson’s famous quote, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
Biden said in response, “And I love people who say, the ‘blood of liberty,’ or excuse me, ‘the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots.’ Well, guess what, man, I didn’t see a whole lot of patriots that are out there walking around making sure that we have these weapons…And if you really want to worry about the government, you need an F-16.”
Biden made a similar remark in the middle of summer 2023. At the time, Biden was calling for a prohibition on AR-15 rifles when he declared, “We have to change. There’s a lot of things we can change, because the American people by and large agree you don’t need a weapon of war. I’m a Second Amendment guy. I taught it for four years, six years in law school. And guess what? It doesn’t say that you can own any weapon you want.”
He continued by saying, “You know, I love these guys who say the Second Amendment is … you know, the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots. Well, if [you] want to do that, you want to work against the government, you need an F-16. You need something else than just an AR-15.”
Biden’s comments represent the true sentiments of the ruling class. They hate Middle Americans and their traditional liberties such as the right to bear arms. Moreover, these same people are more than willing to use military force to crush their opposition.
They are tyrants of the highest order whose power must be contained if we want to preserve any semblance of a free society.
