Judge Who Approved Mar-A-Lago Raid Shared Anti-Trump, Woke Content On Facebook

Questions have been circulating over who signed the warrant to authorize the FBI’s politicized raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago property on Monday.

As was reported yesterday, The New York Post pointed out that the judge responsible for the signed the warrant is an Obama appointee with a questionable history of defending associates of Jeffrey Epstein.

Per the outlet:

Florida federal magistrate judge [Bruce Reinhart] who signed off on a search warrant authorizing the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort left the local US Attorney’s office more than a decade ago to rep employees of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had received immunity in the long-running sex-trafficking investigation of the financier.

Politico, though they did not confirm the report from The Post, mentioned that Reinhart is likely the judge who signed off on the raid.

WHO SIGNED THE WARRANT? — A “source said FBI agents obtained a search warrant from a federal magistrate judge in West Palm Beach,” report the Miami Herald’s Alex Roarty, Michael Wilner and Jay Weaver. According to its website, the West Palm Beach location of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida has three Magistrates: Judge BRUCE REINHART, Judge WILLIAM MATTHEWMAN and Judge RYON MCCABE.

With that newfound information, the internet has taken it upon itself to go through the Florida magistrate judge’s social media history. Ultimately finding some concerning anti-Trump and “woke” content about white privilege on his Facebook page.

Here are some examples curtesy of Jack Posobiec:

Josiah Lippincott, a Hillsdale College Van Adel Graduate School of Statesmanship Ph.D. candidate and writer, first reported on these “disparaging remarks about Trump in 2017.”

One of the Reinhart Facebook posts Lippincott highlighted read:

“I generally ignore the President-elect’s tweets, but not this one. John Lewis arguably has done more to ‘make America great’ than any living citizen.”

“Last August, I took my son to the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma so he could understand the kind of courage and sacrifice required to live in a democratic society. John Lewis embodies that spirit, although I’ve never met him, he is one of my heroes.”

As The Daily Wire reported based on the Lippincott piece, this post from Reinhart was likely in response to a 2017 Trump tweet where the former President ripped “civil rights icon” Lewis.

The controversial tweet read:

“Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad.”

Reinhart added the following in the previously mentioned Facebook post:

“Thank you, Robert Reich, for saying what many of us feel, ‘John Lewis is the conscience of America. Donald Trump doesn’t have the moral stature to kiss John Lewis’s feet, or, as Joseph Welch said to Joseph McCarthy, ‘At long last, have you left no sense of decency?’”

The National Pulse also reported that Reinhart donated to former President Barack Obama’s campaign twice in 2008, and to former presidential candidate Jeb Bush’s campaign in 2015.
