JUSTICE? Charges Dropped for Couple Who Allegedly Assaulted Man for Wearing MAGA Hat in Portland

A man who was assaulted outside of a Portland, OR bar while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat last month will not be receiving justice, as authorities have dropped all charges against his alleged assailants.

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office refused to prosecute 22-year-old Leopold Hauser and 23-year-old Adebisi Okuneye after a grand jury would not issue a bill of indictment against the individuals. They were initially charged with third-degree assault for alleged attacks against 34-year-old Luke Lenzner outside of the Growler’s Taproom bar at 1am on Aug. 24.

“The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office does not prosecute individuals based on their ideologies or affiliations with political or non-political organizations,” the office’s spokesman said.

“The District Attorney’s Office will initiate a criminal case following a review of all available evidence and whenever legally and ethically appropriate, pursuant to state law,” they added.

Hauser even admitted that his group was “mean mugging” Lenzner for his choice of attire, but the grand jury did not seem to care about that fact.

The victim was blamed for the altercation by liberal onlookers, as wearing a MAGA hat and being willing to stand up to a mob are apparently seen as excuses for violence in ANTIFA-dominated Portland.

“Hauser told police that during the altercation, Lenzner and Okuneye came within close proximity and that at one point, Lenzner pushed Okuneye back,” the District Attorney’s office said, addressing the contents of probable cause documents regarding the case.

The office added: “Hauser reported that he stepped in between Lenzner and Okuneye to break up the altercation. When Hauser did this, he reported Lenzner took a fighting stance. When asked by law enforcement how Lenzner got a bloodied nose, Hauser told law enforcement, ‘I don’t know. Arms were flying everywhere.’”

Similar to the people who have been attacked by ANTIFA terrorists in the streets of Portland in recent months, Lenzner will not receive any justice for his vicious attack.

“I got mobbed by everybody that was in that bar outside. People came from the inside out – just circled me and my wife,” Lenzner said to reporters about what took place.

“Surrounding me, like literally surrounding me, pushing me. I’m just trying to get through, trying to stop the person from hitting me, from taking my hat, and then I get sucker punched,” Lenzner added.

Under the reign of ANTIFA-sympathizing Mayor Ted Wheeler, violence against patriots has become commonplace in the city of Portland. Organized terrorists have been allowed to commit coordinated acts of violence, despite video being caught of the brutal gang assaults.

Cops regularly retreat from violent threats in the streets of Portland, as the rule of law crumbles thanks to far-left leadership.

If cultural Marxism is not defeated, every city will be run like Portland, and no patriots will be safe against the scourge of communist gang violence.
