Kamala Harris Criticizes Donald Trump For Mass Deportation Plan Despite Majority of Americans Supporting Immigration Restriction
Democratic Party presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris recently criticized former President Donald Trump plans to implement mass deportations of illegal alien invaders.
Trump has made immigration restriction a key plank of his 2024 campaign and has often cited cases such as in Aurora, Colorado, and in Springfield, Ohio. Trump has pledged to conduct mass deportations of immigrants in the country without legal authorization.
“They have pledged to carry out the largest deportation, a mass deportation, in American history,” Harris declared during a speech at an event the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute hosted.
However, the American people have a different view with respect to the concept of mass deportations. On September 18, 2024, a Scripps News/Ipsos poll was published showcasing the level of support that the concept of mass deportations enjoys among the American populace.
According to the poll, 58% of independent voters support the mass deportation of illegal alien invaders. 54% of overall poll respondents backed mass deportations, with 86% of Republican voters and 25% of Democrat voters indicating that they supported the idea.
Harris asked the participants at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute 2024 Leadership Conference to imagine how the government would implement mass deportations.
“How’s that gonna happen, massive raids? Massive detention camps?” she inquired. “What are they talking about?”
Instead, Harris stated that the US should concentrate on passing reforms to fix “our broken immigration” system.
“We can do both,” she stated. “Create an earned pathway to citizenship and ensure our border is secure.”
Harris clearly wants to maintain open borders. It’s the ethos of the modern-day Democratic Party. So all her promises to build a border wall or “fix” the US’s immigration system are empty at best.
If anything, she will leave the mass migration floodgates open or expand the current level of immigrants — legally or illegally — coming to the US. No matter how one slices it, Harris is an existential threat to the demographic integrity of the US
