Keith Ellison Resigns From DNC Chair As Domestic Violence Scandal Engulfs Him

After winning a tight race for Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison has resigned as Deputy Chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

DNC Chairman Tom Perez issued the following Press Release:

“Keith’s decision means Minnesotans will have a full-time champion fighting for affordable health care, a fair economy, and opportunity for all. His tireless service as deputy chair enabled us to make substantial progress in rebuilding our party and rebuilding trust with our grassroots.”

Perez’ statement failed to mention the status of the DNC investigation into Ellison, who has been accused of domestic violence by at least two different women, which appears to be the true reason for Ellison’s resignation according to insiders.

Although Perez may be unwilling to admit it, his statement along with the Democrats claim that Ellison resigned so he could focus on being Attorney General are both entirely false. In June, USA Today published an article titled “Rep. Keith Ellison will remain in DNC position despite run for Minnesota attorney general”. Perez and Ellison both stated that Ellison would remain Deputy Chair, despite his campaign for AG, which directly contradicts news reports that followed Ellison’s resignation which attributed his election victory to his resignation.

“He serves as the No. 2 person at the DNC, a position the committee says he will keep. Tom Perez, the DNC chair, said Ellison has been “an invaluable voice in shaping our party’s future” as his right-hand and applauded his choice to run for the state’s top law enforcement position.”

In September, investigative journalist Laura Loomer confronted (LOOMERED) Ellison at a campaign event in Minneapolis. Loomer pressed Ellison about the allegations against him with a police report and evidence of the documented assault in hand. Ellison not only refused to answer Loomer’s questions, but he canceled his campaign appearance and hid inside his vehicle to avoid Loomer and several domestic violence survivors.

Loomer encountered Ellison again outside of the Minnesota Attorney General debate where he used a back door entrance to once again avoid her questions. However, Loomer caught up with Ellison outside of the debate, and he was quickly surrounded by a group of Minnesota voters and anti-Domestic violence protesters who asked him to explain why Karen Monahan and Amy Alexander, his ex girlfriends, had proof of physical abuse in the form of police reports and medical reports.

Unwilling to answer the questions from nearly 8 domestic violence survivors and 30 more Minnesota voters outside of the debate venue, Ellison locked himself in his vehicle and hi handlers quickly drove him away.

During his campaign, Ellison was so frightened by Loomer, the only journalist who had the integrity to confront him about the abuse allegations face to face, that he called the police to prevent Loomer from attending one of his campaign events that was originally open to the public and press.

Perez’ Presser States Ellison’s departure will allow him to focus on his new job as Minnesota Attorney General which should prove interesting given his “subordinates” in the law enforcement have no respect for Ellison, who has defended cop killers and endorsed ANTIFA, an anti-cop domestic terrorist organization.

Three days before the election, representatives from the Minneapolis Police Union held an Emergency Press Conference detailing the reasons why they believe Keith Ellison is unfit to be Attorney General.

Lt. Bob Kroll, president of the Police Officers Federation and other officers urged Minnesota Voters to reject Keith Ellison, saying Ellison has a long history of supporting cop killers.

Good luck Minnesota.
