Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie Calls Out Neocon Lunatic Lindsey Graham for Pushing for Iran War

After three American soldiers were allegedly killed in a drone attack at a military base in northeast Jordan close to the Syrian border on January 28, 2024 neoconservatives in the United States ruling class were quick to blame Iran for these attacks.

Indeed, in the last several months, there has been a marked increase in attacks by Iranian-backed militia groups in Iraq and Syria.

However, in this instance, it is unclear who the attackers were.

Nevertheless, the neocon class quickly pounced on this incident to push for war. Unsurprisingly, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham — a neocon luminary if there ever was one — called for taking military action in Iran.

Graham started off a Tweet thread by stating “When the Biden Administration says ‘don’t’, the Iranians ‘do’. The Biden Administration’s rhetoric is falling on deaf ears in Iran.”

He capped off the thread by declaring, “Hit Iran now. Hit them hard.”

Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, a fervent supporter of a non-interventionist foreign policy, immediately responded to Graham’s unhinged call for war.

He tweeted, “Is there anyone you don’t want to bomb?”

Massie has been one of the most principled opponents of the neocon perpetual war agenda during his time in office. These people are lone voices in the wilderness. Nevertheless, their presence is very much felt.

Hopefully, Massie can gather more support in his crusade for a saner foreign policy.
