Kyle Rittenhouse Lawyer Lin Wood Suing Biden Campaign for Libel

The attorney of 17-year old Kyle Rittenhouse announced that he intends to sue Joe Biden for libel after the Democratic candidate claimed Rittenhouse was a “white supremacist.”

Lin Wood, who is well known for representing Nicholas Sandmann in his litigation against CNN, is pointing to a video that depicts Rittenhouse as audio of one of Chris Wallace’s talking points during the first presidential debate.

There isn’t the slightest indication that Rittenhouse is a “white supremacist.”

Wood secured a sizable judgement against CNN and the New York Times for the recklessly defamatory slander of Nicholas Sandmann, claiming that the pro-life teenager was a racist of some sort for merely smirking as a Native American activist chanted at his face.

Rittenhouse has maintained his innocence after shooting three people in the Kenosha riots, pointing to evidence that shows all three of the individuals attacked him and endangered his life before he fired a rifle at them. The man who appears to have set off the violent confrontation, 35-year old Joseph Rosenbaum, has since been exposed as a convicted child rapist.

Public figures are traditionally hard to litigate against in defamation proceedings, but Biden took a bold risk in falsely describing Rittenhouse as a white supremacist when there’s no evidence suggesting that he is one. He might eventually be liable for millions of dollars in damages, and if he’s elected, the inaccurate description might be grounds for Wisconsin prosecutors to drop the ongoing and perilous criminal case against Rittenhouse.
