Largest MAGA Boat Parade in the Great Lakes is Set to Take Place in Michigan This Saturday

What is expected to be the largest MAGA boat parade in the great lakes is scheduled to take place this Saturday, June 15 as President Trump comes to Michigan for a series of important events.

The boat parade will be led by a privately owned 80-foot tugboat along with hundreds of other boats. The event will launch in Lake St Clair at 1M and then pass Hart Plaza in Detroit at approximately 4:01 pm. President Trump will be doing events that day in Detroit, including a summit at a historically black church and a speech at a Turning Point Action conference.

“President Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America, will visit Detroit to listen to members of the community,” the Trump’s campaign stated in a news release. “Trump will discuss how Joe Biden has failed the great people of Detroit and the State of Michigan.”

Private boats, helicopters, sea planes and drones will attend the historic MAGA boat parade, which will be part of the immense spectacle of Trump’s visit to the important battleground state.

“The response to our 2024 MAGA Boat Parade has been amazing, just as it was when we hosted a comparable event in 2020,” said Rosanne Ponkowski, spokesperson for the Michigan Conservative Coalition, the organization that is organizing the MAGA boat parade.

“Michigan, as the Great Lakes State, knows how to show off its nautical enthusiasm. In that regard, nothing will do better than a massive MAGA boat parade. Plus, President Trump is the announced major speaker at an unrelated event in downtown Detroit on this exact June 15 date. Surely that is a part of the energy we feel for our 2024 MAGA Boat event. Make this day even more special with Trump’s major event appearance and the opportunity to celebrate President Trump’s birthday weekend in Detroit by joining the MAGA flotilla,” Ponkowski added.

“We have all seen television coverage of the Florida Trump flotillas and elsewhere. Frankly, the Michigan MAGA Boat Parade in 2020 was much bigger and much more fun,” Ponkowski said.

“Our 2024 Michigan MAGA Boat Parade is expected to be even larger! We ask that all boating participants follow safe boating practices at all times. To look even better, we ask that each craft be decorated with American or Trump flags, and with any patriotic display. Use your audio system to broadcast patriotic music. Let’s celebrate Michigan MAGA and Trump’s birthday weekend on June 15,” she added.
