Leading Air Force Academy Official Was Butthurt About Supreme Court’s Anti-Affirmative Action Ruling

Back in June 30, 2023, Lieutenant General Richard Clark, the Air Force Academy’s superintendent, wrote a letter expressing his concern that  Supreme Court’s decision that affirmative action policies at American universities were unconstitutional would hinder the military branch’s “warfighting imperative” of constructing a racially diverse fighting force, per emails that the Daily Caller obtained.

While the Supreme Court did not ostensibly apply the decision to military schools, the records demonstrate how the Air Force Academy rushed to minimize the fallout of the June 29 decision on its anti-white goals.

“If we lose our limited window to reshape the racial diversity of each incoming class, it would affect our ability to meet the warfighting imperative of fielding a diverse, inclusive force,” Clark wrote in his statement.

Clark called attention to how the Air Force Academy has limited ability over the racial makeup of each year’s incoming class. Traditionally, United States Senators and Representatives nominate young members of their constituencies to attend the Air Force academy. This process accounts for well over half of the admission, with an additional 25% or so accepted on the basis of athletic achievement.

Clark noted that the academy can only “shape” the rest of the 10% to 20% of officer candidates. The academy would weigh several factors for candidates such as socio-economic status, sex, and race.

“If [the U.S. Air Force Academy] were to voluntarily comply with the Supreme Court decision, our ability to shape a diverse class would become more limited,” Clark declared.

The Air Force called attention to how the Air Force Academy has outperformed other branches of the military in terms of racial and ethnic diversity.

“These factors are used to design a class of diverse backgrounds in accordance with [the Department of the Air Force’s] broad definition of diversity and operational needs,” Clark declared. “As such, not being able to consider race in a holistic review would further hinder DAF diversity, moreso than civilian universities.”

With the Air Force embracing anti-white policies, it’s becoming clear that there’s a concerted push to dispossess legacy Americans at all levels of government. The fact that a leading Air Force official like Clark is scared of the Supreme Court’s anti-affirmative action decision just shows how important white dispossession is for the ruling class.

It’s abundantly clear that racial issues are the key issues of our epoch.
