LETTER LEAK: Why Did Dianne Feinstein Blame Christine Blasey Ford?

Dianne Feinstein’s attempt to blame accuser Christine Blasey Ford for the leak of her story does not hold water.
Feinstein said that Blasey Ford was responsible for leaking the “story” before the letter came out, by talking about the story with her friends. Why is Feinstein blaming the accuser?
Feinstein never alleged that Christine Blasey Ford actually leaked the LETTER itself, so her office is still the prime suspect for Republicans.
“I thought only the member of the House, and Senator Feinstein, and her lawyers had the letter,” Texas Republican senator John Cornyn said.
Feinstein eventually says “I don’t think the letter was ever leaked” and said that Blasey Ford “talked to friends about it.”

But here’s the problem for Democrats…
The official story has always been that the letter was “leaked,” which forced Blasey Ford out of hiding and into the public spotlight against her will. CNN and The Washington Post were the first two outlets to see the accuser’s name.

The Washington Examiner reported:
The contents of the letter Christine Blasey Ford wrote to Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., in July detailing the night in 1982 she alleges Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her were leaked to the media Sunday evening.
Ford, a 51-year-old professor at Palo Alto University, revealed her identity to the Washington Post and described in detail the night she claims Kavanaugh drunkenly forced himself on her in a Maryland bedroom during a gathering of his Georgetown Preparatory School classmates. Kavanaugh vehemently denies the allegation and the White House is standing by the nominee.
Hours after the Post report, CNN reported Sunday evening that it did not obtain an actual copy of the letter, but rather was read its contents by a source. The news outlet read the text of the letter on air and published its contents in text form online with some names redacted.
