Libertarian Party Shills for Mass Migration, Shocking No One

Is the Libertarian Party endorsing non-stop mass migration?

In a tweet during the 2020 Democrat debates last Thursday, the Libertarian Party twitter account posted the following:

‘What do you say to white Americans that are uncomfortable with the idea of becoming a racial minority?’ There’s only one answer: You don’t get to use the government to determine the racial makeup of the nation. #DemDebate #DemocraticDebate

This came in response to a question that presidential candidate and Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar was asked regarding the impact of mass migration. One of the members of the debate panel, Yamiche Alcindor, asked Klobuchar, “What do you say to white Americans who are uncomfortable with the idea of becoming a racial minority, even if you don’t share their concerns?”

Klobuchar responded, “I say this is America. You’re looking at it. And we are not going to succeed in the world if we do not invite everyone to be part of our economy.”

The Libertarian Party is clearly following in the footsteps of the political establishment by advancing multiculturalist narratives and policies.

Ironically, the ongoing demographic shift is a problem the government ultimately created with the passage of the 1965 Immigration Act which has attracted predominantly low-skilled migrants from non-Western countries. Such legislation did not happen in a vacuum, since this took place during the Civil Rights era, which witnessed various forms of legislative overreach at the federal level.

A more rational immigration system would take into account migrant’s skills and cultural compatibility. Most importantly, there has to be reductions, if not full-blown pauses, to assimilate migration waves. If not, the U.S. is leaving itself susceptible to potential demographic imbalances and internal conflict if it continues its unfettered migration policy.

Sooner or later, America will need to consider a more rational approach to immigration policy.
