Texas Republican congressman and House Freedom Caucus stalwart Louie Gohmert called former special counsel Robert Mueller an “anal opening” Monday as Mueller prepares to testify before Congress after finding no Russian collusion on the part of President Trump.
“He’s done some irreparable damage to some things and he’s got to answer for them. It reinforced the anal opening that I believe Mueller to be,” Gohmert stated to Politico.
Gohmert’s strong defense of the president — exemplified routinely, including by his push for the government shutdown to force a national emergency to build the Wall — has made him one of the most popular members of the Republican caucus, but the establishment wing of the party still holds disproportionate power against the lawmakers who are more robustly supported by the people.
ormer special counsel Robert Mueller “exhausted” his investigation into President Donald Trump’s non-existent Russia collusion in December 2017, but kept the investigation going for more than a year even though he was warned that he was impeding President Trump’s ability to govern the United States of America. (READ — HOWLEY: Here’s The Full Story of How Obama, Hillary and Brennan Carried Out The Crime of the Century).
“By early December, he had exhausted all of the evidence and the witnesses,” President Trump’s former lawyer John Dowd said of Mueller in Dowd’s recent interview with journalist Byron York, as reported by the Citizen Free Press.
“I said, look, what basis do you have to do it? We’re not afraid of a grand jury subpoena. You want to do it, you’ve got yourself a war and you’re going to lose it. There’s no way Mueller could win that. I think he concluded that, even with all the firepower he had on his side, I think they knew they couldn’t do it. I think they thought they might scare us into it, but we were not going to go there.”
“I asked, what’s the president’s status? Mueller said he’s a witness-slash-subject. And I said, you mean he has no exposure? He said that’s right. So I knew then for sure, by inference, that Mueller had nothing to proceed on in the collusion and conspiracy area,” Dowd said.
So now we know that the Operation Crossfire Hurricane conspirators allowed the media narrative to continue through the 2018 midterms with no evidence. Would that qualify as election interference?
Dowd reportedly warned Mueller that he was interfering with the president’s governance. President Trump never tried to invoke executive privilege to protect himself, and Rod Rosenstein was compromised by his own conspiring against Trump, forcing him to go along with the Mueller plot, according to insiders.

GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis Follows Democrat Orders, Locks Down Florida After Media Pressure Campaign
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a statewide shelter order on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in response to the Wuhan Virus pandemic.
“I’m going to be doing an executive order today directing all Floridians to limit movements and personal interactions outside the home to only those necessary,” he stated. “To obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities.”
DeSantis’s order will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday and will last for 30 days.
If any “essential service” was missed in the initial executive order, the governor says it can be tacked on.
DeSantis claimed he consulted with the White House and had a conversation with President Donald Trump about the decision. He noted that the White House Wuhan Virus task force’s extended guidelines from Tuesday night shaped DeSantis’ decision, describing the president’s move a “national pause.”
“We’re going to be in this for another 30 days,” he declared. “At this point, even though there’s a lot of places in Florida that have very low infection rates, it makes sense to make this move now.”
DeSantis has taken advantage of this situation by pushing forward infrastructure programs. The Florida governor ordered that $2.1 billion in transportation projects be accelerated. These projects include the Howard Frankland bridge project in Tampa Bay.
Sadly, it appears that the Florida Governor has capitulated to Democrat demands to shut down the entire state, even though the Democrat cities infested with the disease are already on lock down. Thirteen left-wing members of Congress led by Debbie Wasserman-Schultz lead a media campaign by signing a letter to the governor earlier this week calling for him to issue the order.
The Wuhan Virus saga demonstrates the unforeseen costs of globalization, where basic civil liberties have to be suspended due to the problems that globalist policies cause.
Mass migration and free trade come with lots of hidden costs and increase the likelihood of generalized crises like the Wuhan Virus pandemic to occur.
