Maryland Mayor Charged with Child Porn was Mentored by Pete Buttigieg, Visited White House Six Times

College Park, Maryland, Mayor Patrick Wojahn was arrested on Thursday for 40 counts of child pornography possession and 16 counts of child pornography distribution, immediately resigning as Mayor after the charges were announced.
“While this investigation does not involve any official city business of any kind, it is in the best interests of our community that I step aside,” said the Democrat former mayor.
It should come as no surprise that Wojahn made many visits to the Biden White House and considered Department of Transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg his personal mentor.
“I actually met Mayor Pete Buttigieg shortly after I was elected mayor in 2015. I went to the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting in D.C. in January, and he was assigned to be my buddy,” Wojahn said.
Wojahn and Buttigieg were fast friends and would speak on the phone frequently, comparing notes on politics and perhaps other extracurricular endeavors as well.
“I now serve in a leadership role as vice chair of city livability and bicycling in part due to his mentorship,” Wojahn said.

Wojahn attended an event in the White House in June 2021 centered around “Commemorating LGBTQ+ Pride Month,” where he rubbed elbows with Buttigieg and his “husband” Chasten. He attended the White House at least six other times. The Biden regime is predictably downplaying the connection between this accused predator and Buttigieg.
“The Secretary did not know the former Mayor well, but did meet him a number of times through participation in U.S. Conference of Mayors programming, conferences and political events,” a White House spokesperson stated.

“I pledge my heart to the rainbow of the not-so-typical gay camp, one camp, full of pride, indivisible, with affirmation and equal rights for all,” Chasten said as children recited his words back to him before swinging the rainbow flag.
