Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) has emerged as an unexpected top tier Democrat contender for the presidential nomination after surprisingly strong showings in the Iowa caucus and the New Hampshire primary.
She has presented herself as a moderate amidst a field of candidates who are trending in a more radical direction to pander to the growing contingent of extremists in the Democrat base. Her strategic plan has paid off and given her a greal deal of momentum with two contests down, and 48 to go.
“It is easy to go after Washington because that’s a popular thing to do,” Klobuchar said. “[It] makes you look like a cool newcomer. I don’t think that’s what people want right now. We have a newcomer in the White House, and look where it got us. I think having some experience is a good thing.”
However, Klobuchar is anything but a moderate, and her past record has been atrocious, particularly pertaining to her support of the Somali invasion in her home state of Minnesota.
Klobuchar can be seen at her worst during a celebration of Somali Independence Day in Minneapolis back in 2017. She bragged about her advocacy on behalf of the third-world invaders.
“I am so proud to work with this community, and I am so proud that so many of your children are in our schools, and I have learned that your graduation rate is improving,” Klobuchar said.
“We have a lot of issues that we must work on. First of all, we cannot cut foreign aid to Somalia. That is wrong! We must support foreign aid to Somalia, and we must stand up when there are hateful things said. We must stand up for refugees and immigrants from all over the world,” she added.
“I mostly want to thank you for being such a part of Minnesota. When people ask me what is Minnesota, I say: this is Minnesota!” she concluded, pointing to all the Somalis at the event.
Her entire groveling speech can be seen here:
It is because of the policies supported by Klobuchar that Minneapolis has become the top hub for Islamic terrorism in the entire United States:
More men and boys from a Somali American community in Minneapolis have joined – or attempted to join – a foreign terrorist organization over the last 12 years than any other jurisdiction in the country.
FBI stats show 45 Somalis left to join the ranks of either the Somalia-based Islamic insurgency al-Shabab, or the Iraq- and Syria-based ISIS combined. And as of 2018, a dozen more had been arrested with the intention of leaving to support ISIS. Both numbers are far higher than those of alleged terrorist wannabes who left or attempted to leave the country from other areas in the country where Muslim refugees have been resettled…
“For over a decade, Islamist terror groups have been able to recruit from Minnesota. This is, in part, because Minnesota has a large Muslim population compared to other parts of the U.S,” said Robin Simcox, a terrorism and national security expert at The Heritage Foundation. “However, it is also because there have been small segments of the Somali community there that have struggled to integrate into the U.S. Al-Shabaab and ISIS have exploited this – upon religious, political cultural and identity issues to offer a compelling alternative to Western democracy.”
Josh Lipowsky, Senior Research Analyst at the Counter Extremism Project concurred the immigrant community in Minnesota has proven to be ripe for targeting in recent years by specifically playing into the card of being something of an outsider and that “society has shunned them.”
Local authorities contend it has been challenging for them to penetrate the Somali-American community in Minneapolis, who remain a unique immigrant population that hasn’t actively assimilated with the neighboring township. In the neighborhood of Cedar-Riverside, for example, it’s possible to go about day-to-day business without ever interacting with a non-Somali.
Klobuchar’s dangerous record pertaining to Somali migrants shows that she is as extreme as anyone in the Democratic field running for president this year.
Ilhan Omar Says She Believes Biden Committed Sexual Assault, But Will Vote For Him Anyway
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has stated publicly that she believes Tara Reade, a former staffer for presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden who has alleged he sexually assaulted her, but will vote for Biden despite the fact that she thinks he is a predator.
“Believing survivors is consistent with my values. Yes, I endorsed against Biden and I didn’t pick him as our nominee. With that said, in this interview I did on May 6th, we talked about that and quotes aren’t always in context. I will vote for him and help him defeat Trump,” Omar wrote in a tweet attempting to express solidarity for Reade while shilling for Biden.
“We can’t fend off perceived attacks with attacks on others. This is the most important election cycle of our lifetimes and we aren’t going to have a chance if we don’t spend our energy in mobilizing and building enthusiasm against Trump. That’s the goal we should all be united on,” Omar wrote in a subsequent Twitter post.
She also talked about her stance in favor of voting for a man she believes is a sexual predator during an interview with The Sunday Times.
“There’s a lot of unsavory stuff. It is troubling, I do believe Tara Reade, I believe it’s important for us to give space for women to come forward and share their stories. It takes years and years for sexual assault survivors to come forward. Justice can be delayed but it should never be denied,” Omar said.
“If considerations [over the candidate] were something I had influence over, just candidly here, we’d probably have a different candidate,” she added – making it clear that Biden is not a candidate she finds particularly desirable.
Fellow “Squad” member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) expressed a similar opinion that she would vote for a man she believes committed sexual assault because of her hatred for Trump.
“I reject the false choice that my party and our nominee can’t address the allegations at hand and defeat the occupant of the White House,” Pressley wrote.
Reade has come forward in recent weeks to accuse Biden of victimizing her in 1993 when he was a Senator and she worked under him:
Tara Reade, a former staffer for Joe Biden while he was serving in the Senate, filed a criminal complaint in Washington D.C. against her former boss on Saturday alleging he sexually assaulted her in 1993.
Reade attests that Biden “assaulted her in a Senate corridor, shoving his hand under her skirt and penetrating her with his fingers.” Business Insider has reported that the “statute of limitations for the alleged assault has passed,” but this troublesome news is not expected to help Biden’s presidential chances.
Reade spoke her truth to writer Katie Halper when she appeared on her podcast last month. Reade claims that she has been trying to get justice for years but her story has mostly fallen on deaf ears due to Biden being protected.
“We were alone, and it was the strangest thing,” Reade said to Halper. “There was no, like, exchange really, he just had me up against the wall. His hands were on me and underneath my clothes. And then, he went, he went down my skirt and then up inside it, and he penetrated me with his fingers…and um…He was kissing me at the same time and he was saying something to me.”
“He got finished doing what he was doing and I, how I was pulled back and he said, ‘Come on man, I heard you liked me.’ And that phrase stayed with me because I kept thinking what I might have said,” she continued. “And I can’t remember exactly if he said ‘I thought’ or if ‘I heard.’ It’s like he implied that I had done this.”
Reade’s allegations are yet to be proven by hard evidence, but this situation has certainly exposed the incredible hypocrisy of Democrats when it comes to the #MeToo movement and sexual assault claims.
