As President Donald J. Trump left the House of Representatives chamber after his first State of the Union address late Tuesday, he had an exchange with Rep. Jeffrey D. Duncan (R.-S.C.) confirming that he will release the four-page memo detailing FBI abuse of the FISA program and its misbehavior during the 2016 political cycle.
“Just release the memo,” said Duncan to Trump as the two men shook hands.
“Oh, don’t worry, 100 percent–can you imagine?” the president said.
“Yes, sir,” replied Duncan.
The memorandum was developed by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which voted Monday to release the memorandum upon the approval of the president.
